  1. Well done Pete, that's come up very well indeed. I'm sure it stacks up quite differently to the new tooled Airfix Kit, however it still she's got the right look and sit of what a proper B-25 should look like. Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
  2. Thats just jaw-dropping modelling perfection at its very best. It was totally amazing following this WIP and possibly one of the very best Frog kits to ever grace these GB pages. Congratulations on a beautiful replica Adrian. We are all in awe of your modelling skills and foresight. Cheers and very well modelled.. Dave
  3. That’s come up quite beautifully and the atmospheric setting is very very well done and very inspirational. Congratulations on a great build and bringing this very old kit to life in such wonderful fashion…. I love it! Cheers and very well modelled.. Dave
  4. Good notes on the bomb sight Peter and your home made piece looks the part. Cheers.. Dave
  5. Great progress Pete and good to see another set of old Frog decals still usable. Might need to slightly correct you on the unit, that’s a Mitchell from No.320 Squadron you’ve build up here, No. 120 was / is a famous Maritime unit equipped with Liberators at the tine. I’m sure it’s just a quick typing error. Cheers.. Dave
  6. That's just turned out lovely and a great tribute to what has to be one of my favourite Frog kits. Looks really good in the kit's box colours, so well done and congratulations on a great build. Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
  7. Apologies for missing this Pete, however looks to be a very interesting comparison between old and very new B-25 moulds. The new Airfix kit is so nice, however doesn't mean to say that the classic Frog kit is past its used by date. Cheers and all the best with the rest of this thread.. Dave
  8. Crickey... how did I miss this thread? What a good looking little Beaver kit, looks like something that can be easily built up in very quick fashion. Cheers and all the best.. Dave
  9. Always great to see another Sea Venom build, should be another thread to follow so all the best getting this one done. Cheers.. Dave
  10. Nice to see another one of Hasegawa's classic kits being assembled here. I've never had this kit although do recall Dad building the F-106 which seems essentially similar in kit design and was quite nice. Cheers and all the best.. Dave
  11. Great to see this Frog Lysander nominated and taking shape here. I've always wondered who made the best 'classic kit' Lysander between this, the Airfix 70's kit and the nicely moulded Matchbox one. I think they all still have a place in one's modelling cabinet. Cheers and all the best.. Dave
  12. Very well done @Mr T, that has really turned out lovely and the overall yellow scheme and homemade codes are very well executed. Congratulations on a great Frog build. Cheers.. Dave
  13. Nice to see this one finished and the additional extras have certainly made a big difference. Cheers and well modelled Ray.. Dave
  14. Great to see some paint being applied here. Those colours remind me of my very first Spitfire my Dad built for me painted up in Humbrol #2 and Humbrol #5 I think... very bright and glossy. I'll have to search online for some colour period photos of these B-17E's, I would have thought they'd be a little more closer to RAF colours, although to be honest am really not sure. Cheers .. Dave
  15. Impressive work all round Adrian, this is one of my favourite builds of the GB! Cheers .. Dave
  16. Well done Pat, this P-61 looks really good all black & riveted. Nice quick work mate. Cheers.. Dave
  17. Happens to all of us, Chris so don't worry too much mate. Pat's advice is a good one, however can lead you down the path of just adding another kit to the half-completed 'Shelf Of Doom'.. speaking of which, I might need to add another shelf to mine! Cheers .. Dave
  18. Good to see you're Frog builds Pat, I've been tinkering away at the Attacker however still not convinced with how it's going.. plus I've been a little distracted which is never good mid-build. Cheers .. Dave
  19. Nice to see the Proctor taking shape so quickly and the comparison with the Vega Gull is quite interesting and should convince silly modellers like myself that you can't / shouldn't build a Gull out of a Proctor! Cheers .. Dave
  20. Great work John, apologies for missing the last few updates, however I'm glad I've revisited this great build and it looks just smashing. Cheers and well done.. Dave
  21. Well done AW, this Canberra looks just beautiful in those Boxart colours. A very neat job all round, great work! Cheers .. Dave
  22. Nice work Pat and good to see you've made it all the way back home. Cheers and chat later.. Dave
  23. Congratulations of yet another very fine GB build Peter. This has really come up wonderfully well and all the small attention to detail has lifted this kit to higher levels. Cheers and well done.. Dave
  24. Apologies for the lack of BM activity chaps, just needed a small break from it all but will jump on board in a few hours to check on everyone’s progress. Cheers.. Dave
