  1. What a lovely Sabre model, looks great all built up and its nice to know that this will be a forthcoming Red Roo kit. Cheers.. Dave
  2. Glad to have you onboard Mark and to answer your question there’s no restriction to AM items, decals etc. We just ask that the bulk of the base kit is all Matchbox and can be easily identified by one of their classic ‘PK’ numbers. Cheers.. Dave
  3. Very well done Owen, she's come up a real treat and looks great in those colours and markings. I've enjoyed following your progress and you've helped my slowly progressing build along the way. It looks so different without the canopy glazing on and I'd be wrapped if mine turns out that well too. Cheers and well played.. Dave
  4. Tony, I think you will find that the Mk.VIII box has all the additional sprue(s) to make either the Costal Command version or BOAC civil Whitley. The stock Mk.V box just has the basic sprues for the bomber. If you are after a CC version then yo’d better buy the dedicated box. Cheers.. Dave
  5. Bravo Greg.. she’s come up a treat and really looks the part. Excellent job all round mate. Cheers.. Dave
  6. Will look forward to seeing it Greg. Now speaking about RNZAF Pacific aircraft, don’t forget the Ventura, that’s another that looks good in Kiwi colours! Cheers.. Dave
  7. You could honestly sell those stands in both popular scales... I’ll pre-order one in 1/72 thanks! That’s incredible workmanship all round. Cheers and very well modelled.. Dave
  8. Those that know me know I like the odd Doughnut or two so if I was to be given the choice between a dozen Krispy Kremes or 12 glorious Aussie Spits I’d think I’d take the tray load of Mitchell’s finest anytime. That’s some collection Tony and I take a bow to your excellent dedication to our 100 year old Air Force. Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
  9. Apologies for not following this thread, however what paint / decal issues you may have had are certainly not noticeable in these beautifully finished photos. That’s a real gem of a Dak to have in one’s collection and its so nice to see one in this scheme. Three cheers to @stevehnz as well for playing his part in this build. Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
  10. Kinda reminds me of the Do 335, so many kits for so few real life examples.. the scale modelling world is littered with many examples of this abhorrent crime. Cheers.. Dave
  11. That’s looking superb Jack and it’s all coming along really nicely. Not long now until you finish up and start to tackle something new.... always a good feeling although I wish I got there more often myself. Cheers.. Dave
  12. For what it’s worth @Solar Panel Phil, the DK sheets lists EV-W as FL218 as well, so that may help confirm your pick-up. Cheers.. Dave
  13. Ahoy me hearties... Tis that Vulcans I see? photo c/o @Rob S Cheers.. Dave
  14. Cracking job on that wee Kiwi Skyhawk Rich, always a popular subject to model and admire. You’ve done one hell of a job on what is a quite good base kit and the enhancements and superb quality of finish has lifted it to greater heights. Love the large bold zapping as well, that’s no quick respray! Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
  15. A short while back I picked up one of those 1/72 Monogram B-26 snaptite kits for a small monetary outlay. I’ve been after one of these for years as apart from the recent Valom kit, this was the only original short winged Marauder kit to ever hit the hobby store shelves. Shes’s not exactly blessed in the detail department and due to its simplistic design, construction is quite strange from a seam clean up perspective, however the shape and crispness is there which will make this an interesting build. I’d love to pick up a cheap Airfix kit to furnish the internals, however that might j
