  1. Thanks Ian! Yes, that Honda is in Casey's colours, The kit itself is pretty rare now, I paid a pretty penny for it on ebay. But it was worth it. I just picked up the 916 kit to build a model of a 1:1 a friend owns, I have to convert it to a 716. I'll be posting more bikes. Working on another Stoner bike now, in fact. Thank you for your kind words.
  2. Hi Ian, Yes, it's a Tamiya kit, and it's 1/12 scale. It's one of their excellent MotoGP kits. I've built a bunch of these kits (Hondas, Suzukis, Kawasakis, Ducatis) and every single one is a jewel of a kit. They go together like a fine Swiss watch. Here she is "naked."
  3. Most of it was left the molded colours, but I heavily weathered it, and painted a few of the pieces where paint would look better. For example there's a subtle difference in color between the flight suit and the shirt he wears under the armor, I worked to make it clear they were two different pieces. But most of the effort was spent on weathering.
  4. Yes, these decals were OK, but not up to what I'd expect from Carto these days.
  5. First post here, glad to be here. This is a kit of a big old American land yacht, a 1968 Chrysler 300. It's an old Johan kit I got as a built-up glue bomb. I stripped it down and rebuilt it to this. The paint is Turbine Bronze Metallic.
  6. I dunno, but because of that they sold lots of 'em here in the States. Including one to me. Build looks great so far!
