  1. Nicholas, No that wasn't me thankfully, I paid £57.84 inc P&P from www.emodels.co.uk still a lot but it's a 1/32 Tempest and not much alternative.
  2. Just bought the 1/32 PCM Tempest and would certainly buy a good 1/24th tempest especially if it was a Tempest II with 20 sqdn markings
  3. Close, it was a Marco Zuliani if my memeory serves me right, must dig out the DVD excellent series.
  4. Hows it going to rotate on take off? With that tail wheel configuration it looks as though it cant rotate, so would have to lift in a very shallow way and then rotate needing a loooooong take off run
  5. I remember this it would have definately been pre 1975, and from memory I would say 1974 most likely, and im 99% certain it was Kelloggs Frosties that you had to save the packet tops from and then send off for the model. If only they gave away kits nowadays
  6. Looks great so far, but, are you modeling the aircraft inverted with 45 degrees of bank? Only the artificial horizon on the instrument panel would suggest you are. A small detail I know but it does stand out because of your great painting.
  7. Recently purchased a 1/12 ESCI F104 cocpit only to disccover the instrument decals missing, does anyone have any they would be willing to sell, or alternatively could do a scan of? Thanls in advance for any replies Nige
  8. Theres a certain Mr Harris on here thats produced a rather fine 1/24th Resin Buccaneer not for the feint hearted but will make an awesome model
  9. Paul, are you making these decals to sell? If so how much and how does one order a set? Thanks in advance Nige
  10. Sean, that Typhoon is actually a Tempest V target tug not a Typhoon. Nige
  11. Perhaps if they didnt pay Dr Pleming circa £80,000 per year salary then they might have more ££££ to fund the aircraft.
  12. looking good, but one thing I m prety sure that the real Miss Demeanor is unique in that it has a Garmin G1000 MFD panel display fitted ;- https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=6420 thus makomng her probably the obnlt glass cockpit classic jet in the world
