    Very cool Vingtor. Please let us know here if and when the reprint of 48-007 ‘’1966-1972’’ RNoAF F-5A/B reprint will be available ! The same for your eventual ‘’1972-2000’’ RNoAF F-5A/B future decal sheet. After 2000, there was also 3 x F-5A that were kept flying until 2007, serving with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace for tests in the "Eye of the Tiger" programme, supporting development of the Norwegian Penguin anti-ship missile. (for me) Kinetic Model is also announcing on their facebook page, from a question about it, another future reboxing of this kit for Canadian CF-5A and USAF F-5A Freedom Fighter (Skoshi Tiger ?) . Comments on their facebook page about this ''very sought after'' new NF-5A/SF-5A/F-5A reboxing, include many requests for a RF-5A Recon Nose optional part. Any resin manufacturer interested ?     Additional information. I just received two copies of these decal sheets. These decals from Leading Edge Models includes the new "RCAF" and "ARC" inscriptions on each side of the fuselage roundel. (photo) All different versions of the fin tradition badges of all RCAF CF-18 Squadrons since 1984 are included. These fin tradition badges include the brand new Squadrons 401 ‘’ ’Rams’ ’(Cold Lake) and 433‘ ’Porc Épic’ ’(Bagotville), two Squadrons that were reactivated in June 2015. The special marks cover the following specific missions and events : Arabian Gulf 1990-1991 Operation Friction ; William Tell 1996 ; Allied Force / Balkan Rats 1999 ; Mobile Lybia 2011 ; Plus : Russian Flanker Intercept ; Russian Black Jack Intercept ; Russian Bear Intercept ; SharkOwl

    Personnally, I am quite sure that Airfix is not making such an investment only to produce a Mk.4. I bet they will also eventually release both Canadair Sabre Mk.5 and Mk.6 versions with slatted wings. For example they have already release to date two versions of their excellent Hawker Hunter Kit. The Mk.4 release date if for Christmas 2020 so it will be logical to think that a Mk.5 release will be for 2021 and a Mk.6 release will be for 2022 ! SharkOwl

    Good day from Rimouski Québec Canada. As a Canadian customer, I think that Airfix could already annnounced if they intend (or not) to release a family of Canadair Sabre including not only the Mk.4 (F.4) but also a Mk.5 and a Mk.6. I really hope they will follow with this approach with their Sabre kit, just like they already do with their excellent 1/48 Hawker Hunter, already available in a F.6 box, a soon to come F.4 box and a most probable later FGA.9 box.     1/48 : Is the F-5A Kinetic Kit Discontinued ? Is the ref. K48020 F-5A Kinetic Kit Discontinued ? It seems now impossible to find on any webstore of the planet ! And it is no longer on the catalogs of ''TopGun'' resellers like Hannants and Luckymodel !!! I have asked the question directly to Kinetic Model on their facebook page but no answers for now.     Leading Edge Models: Update of RCAF CF-18 Hornet Decals ! For your information. In early August the Canadian craftsman Leading Edge Model Decals announced a deep update and the eventual reprint of his decals covering the fleet of Boeing CF-18 Canadian Hornet. The update of these decals will include: a. The addition of the RCAF and ARC markings on each side of the canadian fuselage roundel, registrations that are back on the CF-18 in recent years ; b. The new traditions insignias of Squadron 433 Porc-Epic (Bagotville) and Squadron 401 Ram (Cold Lake) which were reactivated a few years ago within the RCAF ; c. Most recent mission marks (Zap) including recent interceptions of russian bombers, long-range patrol aircraft and even Russian Sukhoi Flankers interceptions by RCAF CF-18s. d.
