  1. It could also be very cool Vingtor to reprint your own 1/48 decal sheet 48-115 F-16AM/BM Fighting Falcon ‘’RNoAF – late markings’’ with lower viz red-blue-grey national roundels. It is no longer available. Thanks in advance for the future reprint. SharkOwl
  2. And it seems that RDAF F-16A/B MLU are now gradually repainted during maintenance and wearing a ‘’F-35A type’’ color scheme with a slightly darker overall grey color, plus red & grey national markings ! Here is an interesting decal sheet about it from Lima November. SharkOwl
  3. Here is the presentation of this very good news on the website “The Modeling News”: https://www.themodellingnews.com/2022/05/preview-f-16-mlu-redux-from-kinetic.html#more Additional info: The box of the original K48002 “F-16AM Block 15 Nato Viper” kit indicates 450 pieces +; and The box of the future kit K48100 “F-16A MLU Nato Viper” indicates 220 pieces +; A decrease of 230 parts for the new future kit compared to the old one. By deduction : Compared to the old kit, the cutting of the parts of the new kit announced “Snap Fit” will certainly be simplified. What is more, the new model is announced with an option called “MagFire” allowing to interchange the armaments via magnetic tips integrated into the different pylons. It is therefore more than likely that Kinetic will provide us with a separate weapons kit with this “MagFire” option. To be confirmed or denied. SharkOwl
  4. This is a very good news indeed. Concerning the reboxing options, the possibilities of squadron markings, special anniversary liveries and solo display aircrafts are quite interesting. And some F-16A MLU of these four European nations (Belgium, Denmark, Norway, The Netherlands) have also been sold and transferred to other countries like : Chile (from The Netherlands) ; Jordan (from Belgium and from The Netherlands) ; And in a few months : Romania (from Norway) ; SharkOwl
  5. Kinetic's marketing logic in recent years with the choice of subjects allowing numerous reboxing of a combat jet produced in various versions, supports the thesis of a family of A-4B/C/E/F/G/H/ K/L/M/N Skyhawks, with in addition, the two-seater TA-4J and OA-4M and as a bonus the A-4 Skyhawks of the Blue Angels patrol and even the paramilitary A-4N Skyhawks of ''Top Aces' ' based in Wittmund, Germany. This marketing logic can also apply for a family of Mirage F-1. SharkOwl
  6. Regarding the teaser photo offered by Kinetic, several US Navy TA-4J Skyhawks were fitted with white underwing fuel tanks with a black tip. SharkOwl
  7. Thanks for the info Homebe! Very interesting ! But at 60 Euros each you have to be very motivated. Do you know if the Hobby Boss project for an injected plastic 1/48 Pilatus PC-21 suggested several years ago with a teaser boxart illustration is definitely dead? For reference, the Hobby Boss 1/48 Embraer Super Tucano sells for around 35 Euros. Thanks for any info on this. SharkOwl
  8. A 1/48 scale New Tooled F-35B is already announced for this summer by Italeri. My best bet for the next Airfix 1/48 kit project is for a Bae/Sepecat Jaguar family (Gr.1/Gr.3/T-2/A/E). SharkOwl
  9. I confirm to you there is currently a top model craftsman in Canada working on a 1/48 scale Canadair CT-114 Tutor project. I will let this model craftsman to eventually announce it himself when this project has passed its first stages of realization and will become reality. SharkOwl
  10. 1/48 : Access ladder for Revell Rafale C at LP Models! LP Models has just made available a resin 3D printed access ladder for the Revell's Rafale C kit in 1/48 scale. 10.16 US $ / 9.06 Euros each! Very interesting ! 11. Any news about this ''most wanted'' and ''future best seller'' 1/48 Kinetic project announced in 2018 ? Still on the pipeline ? Before or after the 1/48 Fiat G-91 Gina project ? SharkOwl
  12. A very good news indeed. Thanks to Homebe for this info. The digital illustrations of the sprues layout suggest a quite ''simple and practical'' 1/48 kit that will certainly be a future ''best seller'' for Special Hobby. Lets hope that Special Hobby will also think for the future to eventually produce both 1/48 Dassault Mystère IV and 1/48 Dassault Ouragan kits. SharkOwl
  13. Thank you for this photo Tony. As the AMS Resin 1/48 scale ''sugar scoops'' parts seems no longer available, do you have the 1/1 scale detailed dimensions of the Canadair CL-13 Sabre ''sugar scoops'' ? Thanks in advance for the info. SharkOwl
  14. What are the sugar scoops ? Can you expain to me (us) ? SharkOwl
  15. Concerning the F-86 Wings options for different versions here is a quite interesting set of wing profiles with explanations. As mentioned before here, it will be quite easy to correct the wing of this future F-86F-40 Sabre Airfix kit to have a Canadair CL-13 Sabre Mk.6 wing. Illustration credit : Copyright © 2009 J.R. 16. Avery good news indeed ! Looking back at the past years, it's obvious that Eduard's designers have already think of several versions for this Mig-21 F-13, with a smart pre planned evolution of the sprues. Here is the list of the operating countries of this first generation of the "Sixties" of the Mig-21, enough to give us some very good ideas of the re-boxing potential for Eduard. - Afghanistan ; - Albania (Chengdu F-7A) ; - Algeria ; - Bulgaria ; - China ; - Czechoslovakia ; - East Germany ; - Egypt ; - Finland ; - Hungary ; - Indonesia ; - Iraq ; - Israel (ex-Iraq test plane) ; - North Korea ; - North Vietnam ; - Poland ; - Romania ; - Syria ; - Soviet Union / USSR ; - USA (ex-Israel & ex-Algeria test planes) ; - North Vietnam ; - Yugoslavia ; Personally, I am already thinking of a Eduard 1/48 scale Mig-21 F-13 box called ‘’1967 Six Day Warriors’’ with markings for Algeria, Egypt, Irak and Syria ! 17. I gently remind everybody here that the subject of this dicussion topic is : 1/48 - Dassault Mirage F-1 family by Kinetic - 3D renders SharkOwl
  18. Any news about this project from Kinetic that could be the absolute quarter scale best seller for 2022 ? SharkOwl
  19. Hobby Search in Japan. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10720389 SharkOwl
