  1. If you could only visit one of the three aviation museums in San Diego, which would it be? Have a work trip there in February.

Midway all the way PC. The Balboa park one is really well done, but it's small like Dave says. The USMC museum has lot of old cold war jets parked outside, really neat, but again, pretty small.

Having been to all the aviation museums in San Diego,I can give a good overview , however with your tastes surely you would want to go to the one with a Spitfire. The Aero-Space Museum has a Spitfire SL574 with an interesting history. If you go make sure you look at the leading edge of the stb wing. Also if you do the Aero Space, make sure you do the restoration tour in the basement. Its extra, but worth a look.

Tom -- you may be everything I aspire to be.

Jason -- My personal favourites are FO2 and FO:NV, heaven knows what that says about me.

      Stosh -- I'd say that's accurate.

Falke -- At least it's not drugs. Unless they're using Psycho or Mentats in-game.

Thank you for the compliment. Been treading the wastes since leaving Vault 13 all those years ago.

Whatever keeps you building. I build some armour on occasion to remind me how much simpler life is on the aircraft side. Also, beware of individual tracks and don't paint them before assembly. (Don't ask me how I know that!)

I really really really really really want a new Vulcan :P -On a serious note: I think with the retirement of 558, Airfix missed out on a huge surge in popularity for the Vulcan and potential sales-won't stop me from buying one though (if it's true)

I had planned to get the 558 Vulcan from Airfix with all the White Ensign bombb bay/cockpit/exterior photo-etch (Around £70 in total!) But I think I might leave it until Telford is out of the way....

I looked at your list - indeed I checked it twice - I think the Nimrod would be nice. You can file away the excess bulges in the front, and then rustle up some BOAC decals, and be in business.

Dang - I think I have gained 5 lbs reading your posts. "Read Britmodeller, then head to kitchen". My friends in Vancouver also have great sausages,'smokies' they call them, which when down here, despite extensive supermarket scouring, they can't find.

For bangers though, I can find something called Cantella's Pork Bangers - English style. Close enough they are.

I know that Airfix aren't into 1/32nd, but imagine if they were to release a 1/32nd UK Phantom! That would indeed be unique, AFAIK there has not been an IM kit of the UK versions released at all, and the conversions if you can find them go for incredible money.

  13. OK, I admit it. The UK does breakfasts better.
