Winston Thomas is eight pounds and two ounces, and looks like a garden gnome.

I have decided to dishonour myself and do something I swore I would never do. I am going to build 1.35 armour models.

STOP MAKING ME WANT TO BUY LIGHTNINGS

What the deuce?!?

Will trade human baby for 1/72 Spitfire kit

I really respect Revell's commitment to producing the worst instructions of any of the major brands, not merely in terms of utility, but also, with Teutonic thoroughness, in terms of paper quality, symbology, etc.

What's Procopius up to? Currently reading books on the origins of Dungeons and Dragons.

Can't stop thinking about how much I want to build a Vietanm F-105. But I don't do US subjects. Give me strength!

Fallout 4 is where I am. Been dwelling in vaults since '97.

Ordered a 1/72 Wellington Ic online, received a 1/48 Wellington III!

Airfix ain't exactly blowing my skirts up with their planned 2016 releases.

Too tired to accomplish anything beyond continuing to age. Have turned 33, feel considerably older in my joints.

I don't think my heart can take much more in the referendum line.

Procopius's Law: You will learn of any serious shape problem only minutes after buying the kit.

If you could only visit one of the three aviation museums in San Diego, which would it be? Have a work trip there in February.

Having been to all the aviation museums in San Diego,I can give a good overview , however with your tastes surely you would want to go to the one with a Spitfire. The Aero-Space Museum has a Spitfire SL574 with an interesting history. If you go make sure you look at the leading edge of the stb wing. Also if you do the Aero Space, make sure you do the restoration tour in the basement. Its extra, but worth a look.

I had thought I knew fish and chips, but now I see that I knew nothing. Mr. Cod is my master now.

Struggling to think of something I love more than Spitfires.

Man alive, Humbrol acrylics do not like being airbrushed.

What's with all the Yanks, my fellow Britainlanders?

What sadist decreed underwing serial numbers would go RIGHT OVER the landing gear bays?

I almost never do this, but -- I give up. Fffff-forget the Special Hobby Spitfire 21. Horrible, horrible kit, and I've built the Mach 2 Avenger with nary a sigh. The whole thing was engineered so as to ace in-box reviews, and nothing further. The sliding hood is huge, almost the size of a Corsair's. The fuselage is too short. The wings are wrong. Nothing is quite right and I'm fed up. It's killed my desire to build models. In short, I've been enraged by an overpriced hunk...

Having already gone all out on a couple of the Airfix XIX I've no desire to get another. There's an old KP IX that can give up it's rear upper fuselage section and a couple spare canopies from a Tamiya Mk.I that may prove useful though. Someday. Maybe. Heard good things about the Eduard/Aeroteam kit so perhaps all is not lost in your quest for a 21.

What to build next? Ouragan? Pup? Something else: http://www.scalemates.com/profiles/mate.php?id=12681&p=stash&fkSECTION[]=Kits

I'm getting a little tired of universe's constant reminders of my insignificance. I get it, enough already.

If I never see my in-laws again it will be too soon.
