as an American lover of (almost) all things English, you will be forgiven to believe that the Battle of Agincourt is remembered by all as God's gift to the English, thanks in no small measure to their dastardly long bows...

I do therefore apologize if, despite the intervening years since that memorable slaughter, I cannot find in me the excitement Agincourt should create... Being French is sometime hard, believe me. Our cross becomes ever heavier at the names of Crecy, Poitiers, Agincourt, Trafalgar, Waterloo... Blessed are those who don't give a damn about history!!!
