  1. That's what I found out: the best sinai grey seems to be the lifecolor one. If you prefer humbrol colours, the Hu72 enamel seems to be the best match.
  2. Welcome among the M4 fans You chose a nice kit, just be careful when assembling the mantlet as it is the only real issue. And remember to check where to put the extra loads, as Academy seems to have them in the wrong places. Regarding the sinai grey, I'll give a look to an italian forum where a guy just built the same kit as yours and will let you know what I found
  3. Nice progress, the dragon kit looks very nice. I hope to be able to put some picture of the tasca one tonight. Why did you chose to glue the bogies before painting? I prefer to glue them at a later stage, to be comfy when painting and weathering the lower hull.
  4. In My controls there's a section "Edit Signature" go there and put an image pointing to http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/3690/banner2baj.jpg Here you are and strong be the force with you
  5. To "our" build BTW I prefer the one with the white background too, the black border looks much better. I think I'll give a border to the green one too.
  6. What do you think of the banner I created?
  7. I should start the build this evening, together with some weathering to the T-34;)
  8. Welcome Ian, looks like we're building the same tank from different manufacturers Looking forward to seeing more from you
  9. Excellent job on the turret, Mike What colour are you going to use?
  10. Thanks a lot Very helpful, I'll read it carefully.
  11. You and Garfield are quick builders. The PE fenders look very nice
  12. Nice job, Mike. The decals look the part, I wonder how they work under a layer of primer.
  13. Thanks, in the meantime I'll try to find some more sources (other than the instruction leaflet). Ah, I hope to put together some sig pic in the weekend (as I will be forced to stay away from my bench).
  14. This is a quiet GB, isn't it? Can someone give me some advice on the sand colour used on the shermie? What's the correct base?
  15. Welcome, I just built that kit, so if you need any advice, feel free to ask This is the result.
  16. I'm comparing tamiya and dragon, and until now dragon seems much more detailed. Nice build so far, Garfield
  17. The welded details look very nice Looking forward to seeing more from you.
  18. LOL At least you have the separated rubber rim, much easier to paint and to assemble
  19. I know what you mean The suspensions in mine have not less than 15 parts each...
  20. Off to a good start, Mike Wheels and tracks are always the worst part of the build, you're lucky that you have rubber tracks I just finished building the Modelkasten tracks for my T-34, and that meant 72 individual track links per side with 2 pins on each side
