  1. I know, but I'm finishing a T-34 right now (a dragon one) This one should be as good fit as a Tamiya, but far more detailed, as far as I know.
  2. My build will be this one: Hope to start it as soon as possible.
  3. Very nice The weathering is subtle yet effective
  4. I hope to get my tasca shermie today. If so I'll post the box pics asap
  5. I'd go for the Tarawa one, it's one I wish to build some time...
  6. Watch out, their instruction leaflet isn't that clear and needs lot of study The tank you chose is a nice one, I've seen it built from both academy and tamiya kits, I look forward to seeing the dragon one built
  7. Fine I'm waiting for the kit. it should be here within next week I'm going to build the Tasca Sherman II direct vision used in El Alamein battle: PMMS review
  8. I knew they used lime. You must remember that they had quite a lot of tanks to paint white and it was likely that they hadn't time and resources to produce enough white titanium paint. On the other side, most of the winter washes were rapidly worn by the harsh weather, so lime was probably the best cost effective solution they had.
  9. Very nice builds, but you should improve your photographic skills
  10. Is it acceptable to build a Sherman derivative like the M7 Priest? Edit: I answer myself, No. It is a M3 derivative, not an M4 as wrongly stated in the review I found. Exactly as the M12 155mm self propelled howitzer.
  11. I too went with Expert choice and the outcome is really nice. The decal on the tail of this one are printed on expert choice: Untitled di Bullardino, su Flickr
  12. There are also tanks, made by french producer Gaso.Line. They are resin kits so they're not cheap, but still they exist Quarter Kit
  13. Nice, looks like I'm going to get one for a T34 I'm building...
  14. Very neat little piece of armor. The second scene looks real great
  15. I'm scared by the fact they're not workable, so I'm planning to use the modelkasten ones. Did you paint them before assembling?
  16. Very nice diorama. I'm starting the same kit today, but I'll build it as a russian tank. Did you use the kit's tracks?
  17. Thnak you all I used True Earth's structured powder. I chose the european earth dark tone as a friend of mine suggested me.
  18. What brown did you use? Matches perfectly all the images I've seen of RA planes
  19. In the meantime I started it too, but I've stopped the build to end a 1/48 Firefly Ic I've started before. I'm eager to see more from you
