Isn't the Magna conversion designed for the old Airfix kit? that might be where the problem is coming in.

Hi Kev, I've tried that - they've been in the window since January and there's no sign of the yellowing fading. IIRC Airfix had a specific problem with the varnish used on my paticular boxing of the HP42 (certainly all the pics I've seen on Ebay etc are as badly affected as mine). Vince

Hi chaps, I'm a long-time ARC member and thought I was about time to sign up for Britmodeller! I'm building the old Airfix HP42, but the decals (to no-one's surprise) are totally yellowed and unusable. Has anyone ever printed their own decals for the HP42 and still has the appropriate files to email, or knows of the correct font to use, or even has replacement, non-yellowed decals they're willing to part with?
