  1. A Hampden in 1/48 next year? ICM think that this is a good idea (like me). Not more, not less. But hope dies last.
  2. Sorry: It's generally a counterweight to the enhanced front armor.
  3. Hey, I am still in for Eduard's more „esoteric“ projects like the Avias S- and CS-199, as well as for the trainer-version of their Zero. But I will humbly postpone my wishes… 😊 Happy modelling everybody!
  4. Hm. On MiniArt‘s website they say they were founded in Ukraine in 2001 and are located at Kijiv/Kiew since 2014, which is Ukraine's capital. Have they changed/switched to Poland since then?
  5. …and those amongst us who can financially affort to support a venture like Mikromir do not have to wait for MiniArt's F-13! Those financially more potent amongst us might even also acquire MiniArt's F-13 and thus support TWO ukrainian companies that make our hobby so rich! 😉
  6. Me too. But I am nearly 60 years old and not sure whether Eduard will give birth to the K while I am still able to tackle glue and cutters… (same with their Avia S-199, to say nothing of their CS-199).
  7. Now as we were informed by Mr. Šulz that Eduard will hold back their 1/48 Avia S-199 and CS-199 due to economical reasons: Will Eduard also cancel/hold back their announced Me 109 G-12? This would make sense, 'cause as far as I know, virtually NO german top-fighter-As was ever photographed in a G-12 or reported to have scored kills flying a G-12 - which means that this would be a low selling kit. Any rumors?
  8. Well, maybe guys like us can hope then that Eduard will release their announced MiG 21 f-13…
  9. Wot? Not profitable? (😮) I for one would buy at least 2 Avia S-199 in 1/48 scale as well as at least 1 Avia CS-199 in 1/48 scale!! That's already 3 kits as good as sold!! Mr. Šulc, please!!! (😁) No, serious: I do well understand that those Avias cannot compete with P-51‘s or even P-40‘s. But, well, c'est dommage, n'est-ce pas? That‘s all I wanted to say.
  10. I did not expect anything else. As long as Balkenkreuze, Cockardes and Fivepointed Stars on Messerschmitts, Spitfires and Mustangs sell, kits of more „esoteric“ topics will make money (😂) for 1-man-companies producing short-run and 3D- print models. And the managers at Eduard's, they are top notch in their business. That said, I am not to sad, as I realize, I am more and more leaving the hobby. So, no Avia CS-199 and even no S-199 in 1/48 is no great loss to me. Long live Messerschmitt! Long live our hobby!
  11. This is the one I mean BY „early flying pencil“: https://www.airhistory.net/photo/230065/D-APAL THIS is also called „flying pencil“ (though only in the English speaking world): https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dornier_Do_17#/media/Datei%3ABundesarchiv_Bild_101I-341-0489-10A%2C_Frankreich%2C_Flugzeug_Dornier_Do_17_Z.jpg Though to me this is no „pencil“..
  12. Yeah! And I will get one, which will help financing Eduard's Avia CS-199!
  13. Again and again and again I try to turn my interest to Spitfires, Mustangs and Messerschmitts like a good modeler should - but, to no avail! My modeling life could be so easy, happy, happy, happy: Every year another new kit of my favourite subjects: Spitfires, Mustangs, Messerschmitts! But, no, no, no, I am interested in such bloody niche-subjects… 😡
  14. I want a good kit of an early Scooter in 1/48. Kinetic would be nice…
  15. Congratulation: This is exactly MiniArt‘s intention. Maybe they will even make a kit from these CAD renders someday. And until then we don‘t buy MikroMir's F-13. Marketing works, economy rules and customers like us lean back and enjoy.
