  1. I thank you sir. The support is an AFV Paint Clamp from Sphere Products. Its a great piece of kit. Holds your model with strong magnets. Very simple and very effective. Regards Steve
  2. How do chaps, Finally managed to cut plastic on this yesterday afternoon. The plastic is quite soft so care needed to be taken with trimming any parts etc. The running gear and basic lower hull complete. I'm not overly fond of hulls that are made up from flat plates. This took a bit of jiggling to get square. The bogies are made up of 8 parts each and went together nicely. The trailing idler wheels were a bit of a faff to put together. More work on the hull with the fire wall in place. Hull top and front plate in place, A few more bits and hull MG fitted. This kit is going to be a bit of a faff to put together, but the final result should be worth it..... I hope! As an aside, I also managed to score these yesterday from Hobbycrap. These may make an appearance at a later date! Regards, Steve
  3. Have this in the stash, so will watch with interest. Regards Steve
  4. How do chaps, Thought it was time I chucked my hat in. After perusing the stash I finally decided on this. The bits in the box, And what I'll be using for some reference, Depending on how this one progresses I may even start another thread with either a Sherman of sone sort or maybe a Churchill MkVII Hopefully construction will commence tomorrow at some point. Regards, Steve
  5. Thanks for that G! Will use bank that and use it again :-D Regards Steve
  6. Right i see. They have the RRP as £37.99 but have it priced up at £34.19! Thats a fair bit cheaper than £49.99 the kit usually sells for. Another possible for the stash! Steve
  7. Had an email from Wonderland Models with a release date of July for a Firefly Vc in 35th scale! Kit also includes their British Infantry On Patrol set too! Didn't know they'd announced this. Upscale from their 48th scale kit? If so they may do same with their Crusaders.... PLEEEEEASE! Regards Steve
  8. Had an email from Wonderland Models today. They have the MkIV priced up at £44.99 with a release date of July. Tempting, very tempting! Regards Steve

  14. Thanks for your comment.Practice, take your time and practice again! But mpst of all enjoy it. Compared to some of the works of art posted here mine look rather naff! Post up here and you get some great tips and encouragment. Regards Steve
  15. How do chaps, This is building up rather nicely. Only thing to note are the rather large sprue attachment points that need careful clean up. Front & rear of gun shield Gun mounts/trunnions. Gun shield dry fitted to mounts. All parts built do far dry fitted to the hull. This will have to be built and painted in sub assemblies to get into all the nooks and crannies. Think I may go for a 2 tone desert scheme... Suggestions and thoughts welcome on the colours. More to follow soon. Regards. Steve
  16. Great job on an old kit. Painting and weathering are spot on! Regards, Steve
  17. How do chaps, Birthday prezzie from my beloved. Was quite chuffed when GW announced this kit, as I didn't want to shell out for Forge World conversion, especially as the barrels are known for being miscast and droopy! Box top. Box back. You have the choice of the Hydra with the Ack-Ack guns or the Wyvern with Mortars? I like the look of both, so another kit may have to procured at some point! I could even mix and match with Ack-Ack and Mortars!!! Sprue for running gear (from Chimera kit) Some lovely details are included on the new sprues, especially the gun platform/turntable. Best of all GW have finally numbered the pieces!!! The trunnions are also nicely moulded. Gun shield & gunners display. Main gun bodies and new front hull that sits over the existing one. Pics of the build will follow shorty. Regards, Steve
  18. Like those, especially the one with the wading stacks as you don't see many of those built up Regards, Steve
  19. How do chaps, All done and fit to be seen. Build here for those so inclined http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234957630-panzer-iiin/ Comments and suggestions welcome. Regards, Steve
  20. Aye up Ben. Nice to see this progressing again. Top job mate! Regards Steve
  21. How do chaps, Been a while since I picked this up to work on. Decals and weathering are on. The decals still silvered even on top of a couple of coats of Klear and with another coat of Klear on top Started work on muddying up the lower hull a smidge. This was done with thinned Tamiya Earth Texture Paint. The running gear is on and a wash of Humbrol Sand was applied and then most of it was removed with clean thinner. I need a bit more practice with this tho. A very thin coat of Vallejo Sand mixed with Dark Earth was then sprayed over the entire model to tone things down and blend it all together. Tracks on. Raised areas were also given a drybrush of Vallejo Hemp, which sits quite nicely with the top coat. All that remains now is some matt varnish and then I'm calling it done I might put this in a small vignette with a figure, but i'm not sure as yet. Regards, Steve
  22. Ahh, looks like you have it sorted! I do like the ferret. Wish someone would do a 35th scale kit in plastic! Firefox works well too by all accounts. Looking good thus far. Regards Steve
  23. Are you using windows 8 and internet explorer? I had the same problem when i upgraded my laptop a little while back. Was advised (by the tech bods on here) to use another browser. Downloaded Google Chrome and pics now link fine from photobucket. Regards Steve
  24. If i recall correctly Accurate Armour did a full resin kit a few years back. May still be available. Wont be cheap tho! Regards Steve
