On the back of a low loader yesterday was a late model Skoda Estelle in an orangey red colour. Not seen one of those for many years! Regards, Steve

Is/was that a Vauxhall Viva?? ๐ฒ Regards, Steve

Was in Skipton today and saw a Polester 2 plugged in and charging up. Nothing unusual you may say, except this one was a fully decked out British Transport Police car! https://images.app.goo.gl/E6eUZfp9H8hwGAJB7 Looks rather good in blue and yellow battenburg with the light bar on top. I imagine it's crew were either patroling the canal or sat in a cafe having tea and biccies! ๐ Regards, Steve

This one.. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/tamiya-35378-panzerkampfwagen-iv-ausf-g-sdkfz-161-1--1328415 Some of the parts are from an earlier release, mid 90's i think but still good. Regards, Steve

Agree with John @Bullbasket regarding the M4A3E8. I'd like to add the recent Panzer IV as it goes together really well with the right amount of detail and the link & length tracks are a doddle to build. The new Comet looks great un the box too ๐ Regards, steve

Not a kit but was in WH Smith this morning and picked up the latest issue of Fine Scale Modeller to flick through, as it was a mag i used to buy fairly regular years back. Looked at price and nearly fell over... ยฃ11.99! Can't believe folk are still paying that for a 60 page magazine.... ๐ฒ Regards, Steve

Saw a scruffy looking Austin Cambridge yesterday whilst out with a young work colleague. I was mortified when she asked if the car was as old as me! ๐ Regards, Steve

Had his nibs back at the cat quack tonight for them to check his wound. Knitting together nicely and healing well. To keep on with the anti biotics until they're finished and got another appointment for next week but vet said we can cancel if it all looks good ๐ Regards, Steve
-
Thanks @Mr T & @AliGauld He's deffo perking up with the anti biotics and is about back to his normal self. The wound also looks to be drying up nicely and seems to be healing well so far ๐ค Will see what cat quack has to say when he goes back on Tuesday. Regards, Steve
-
Thanks. Funnily enough thats whst the vet told us too!

Well, we had to take his nibs to the vet this morning as last night we noticed the base of his tail was swollen and he wasn't his usual self. Soon after he had a fair bit of puss come out of it. Managed to have a look at it and there's a nasty wound. Got him in his carrier ok and he only tried to bite me once whilst the vet gave him the once over! Poor lad has quite a hole and vet thought it was a bite that had become infected. Came away with two lots of anti biotics, some hibiscrub to clean the wound and another appointment for Tuesday night! Ahh the joys of being adopted by a cat ๐ Regards, Steve

Recently finished The Black Bull , history of 11th Armoured Brigade from D:Day to the end of the war and a cracking read. Now made a start on Brothers In Arms by James Holland, also a cracking read. Have now started to turn TV off on an evening and read for an hour before bed and i find i'm now sleeping better! Regards, Steve

After getting the cat carrier last weekend we've left it out so his nibs gets used to it... today he decided to try it out for size. Bet i won't get him in so easily when he's due at the vet! ๐คจ Regards, Steve

A cat carrier so i can get his nibs to the vets for his nuts off! ๐ซฃ Regards, Steve

I'm currently building Games Workshop stuff as it means i can work in the house due them being brush painted and the paint being non stinky and water based. Here's one i finished over the weekend. Will be back in the shed come spring once it warms up a bit. The shed is well insulated and i've worked in there over winter before with a heater on.. If i went in there at the minute though keeping it warm and cosy enough to work in would probably blow several years worth of the modelling budget! ๐ฌ Regards, Steve

Another one to add to the list... Model Workshop in Bansley. Not been in person but used them for mail order stuff ๐ https://www.themodelworkshop.co.uk/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrsfK7tHq_AIVZ4BQBh2TrAvSEAAYASAAEgIFdfD_BwE And this one for all Warhammer related stuff https://www.hobbyworkshop.co.uk/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhpmO4NLq_AIVj9PtCh01fwnJEAAYASAAEgLf5_D_BwE And also Leodis Games in Pudsey/Farsley. Purely a gaming shop but they have an excellent range of paints/tools etc. https://www.leodisgames.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqa_CnNPq_AIVlsftCh1HRwHWEAAYASAAEgIGRfD_BwE Regards, Steve

Nice conversion of a nice kit ๐ The site of Fowlers in Hunslet is not too far from me and is now a Costco! Regards, Steve
-
I will be getting a few of these especially if the price stays at around the 23 quid mark. Really like the BATUS range safety scheme with the red turret. Had a bash at the AA kit many years ago and made a real pigs ear of it as i'd never built a resin kit before. Very happy to see Airfix doing one in plastic and if it's a seller they might do other versions. ๐ Regards, Steve

Being a true Yorkshireman i'll be buying a Ferret or 3. Don't think i'll be keeping them in my trousers though! ๐ฏ Regards, Steve
