  1. Hi, Tim. I certainly can't speak for the BM moderators, but I can't see any real harm in posting a picture of something you're intending to sell, in the hope that someone will be able to fully ID it. Cheers. Chris.
  2. I can only repeat the sentiments that are here already...... Utterly superb modelling skills! Thanks for sharing. Chris.
  3. I...think...I....have...seen...it...all...now. A heavily restricted show for the Red Arrows? Why don't they just shut down every road in the UK for the show, just in case something nasty happens? Unadulterated lunacy...... Chris.
  4. This could be the end of western civilization as we know it.... (Or just a very cheap, spoof movie). Chris. PS: Trump could be the new Leader of the Free World (TM applied for) in 9 months time. What's funnier / more tragic than that?
  5. Looks good!! Acting from the "Captain" is certainly much more convincing than anything Shatner ever committed to celluloid..... Chris. PS: This is a joke, isn't it??
  6. Hi. Thanks for the reply on the Zimmerit and hatches. Chris.
  7. Hello. I'm following your thread with great interest, my friend. This kit is definitely on my "bucket list". A few questions, if I may: 1. How did you create the Zimmerit? 2. Where did the loader's roof turret hatch come from? Many thanks. Chris.
  8. It could well have been Quickboost, now you mention that name.......
  9. Hello. I bought some resin 1/32 scale Sidewinder end-caps from Hannants a while ago. I appreciate that these might not be your desired scale, but it's likely that the same company would do them in smaller scales. Unfortunately, I can't remember who made them (sorry). Chris.
  10. Run...run for your lives..... My microwave just gave me a very hostile look! Chris.
  11. Great collection of images, Sir! Thanks for sharing with us. Chris.
  12. I think it has been posted elsewhere on Britmodeller, but considering the nature of the news, worthy of a repeat post. I think anyone who knew Bob will miss him. My condolences go out to his family. Chris.
  13. I e-mailed the museum some time ago, to ask if it was possible to have access to the Mi-24 Hind's cockpit. Not too surprisingly after reading this thread, I never received a reply. Chris.
  14. There's some very interesting comments about the new management at Duxford on here.. It seems to have taken a very definite turn for the worst, if all the comments are accurate. I was at the show on both days. Definitely a smaller crowd than in previous years, even bearing in mind that the May show usually has the lowest attendance of all three annual air-shows there. I thought the flying line-up was good, but not amazing (a sign of the times, I'm guessing). The new CAA rules made a big difference, but would probably not have even been noticed by "Mum, Dad & two kids". Who knows how DX air-shows will go in the future? Chris. PS: What bright spark decided it would be a good thing to have Flying Legends on the same weekend as Fairford? Surely, both air-shows will lose out in this scenario?
  15. Would that 1:1 scale Hog be at the Bentwaters museum, by-any-chance? I may have to make a trip to see it, once it's fit for Public Eyes.... Cheers. Chris. PS: I believe that True Details do a resin cockpit (good, fairly cheap) and so do Aires (very good, but a bit pricey).
  16. "Billy, you ain't afraid of no man......" "This ain't no man....this is a vinyl figure!" (Yes, this is even worse than my last puns... Oh Lord, help us!) Still following with great interest. Chris.
  17. Thanks for sharing with us, Ashley. I have a fair few NASCAR and drag-racers sitting in my stash, so your thread is of great interest to me. Keep up the good work, mate! Cheers. Chris.
  18. The MIG-29... been in my top-three favourite aircraft for decades. Built like a 1950's tractor, but can move like a butterfly when it needs to (albeit an after-burning butterfly!). I will be following your progress with great interest. Cheers. Chris.
  19. I'll be interested to see which way they go with this.... Please don't let it be a simple re-hash of previous series (and, dear God, nothing like STNG! That show was so PC, it ruined it). Cheers. Chris.
  20. Very glad to hear that the crew all got out safely. Cheers. Chris.
  21. That's your first ever build?! You've done an amazing job of it, my friend. Thanks for sharing. Chris.
  22. Your images look pretty good to me, my friend. I will be following this build with great interest. Cheers. Chris.
  23. Very excellent work on display here! Cheers for sharing with us. Chris.
  24. Very, very lovely stuff! As a previous poster remarked, what an amazing talent to have. Cheers. Chris.
  25. "If you lose your Mojo on this one, you'll be in a whole world of pain..." Sweating Modeller No.1: "You remember Telford on the Saturday?" Perspiring Kit-Builder No.2: "I'm trying to forget!" (Many apologies to the writers of the original dialogue...) Thanks for sharing with us. Chris.
