  1. Good to see if they produce the RMAF decals too. Not much difference between the Snowbirds and Tebuan. Off with the smoke pipe/fairings at the back, change the UHF antenna on top behind cockpit, add gunsight, add a bulge at the bottom and tadaaaa... Tebuan!!
  2. B, I have the tiger emblem you're looking for. No issues. You can have it.
  3. Good Job Mr B!! I envy you.....
  4. Thank you Sirs!! I have contacted DJ Parkins for the sets. Best regards.
  5. Hi Folks, Does anyone know any resin manufacturer for the C130 Ski skids in 72nd scale or any references that can lead me to scratchbuild for one? Much appreciate any leads. Thank you.
  6. Hi All, My sincere apologies for the late up date. I was down with a very high fever caused by a virus. Thank God it wasn't the dreaded Dengue fever. This has been confirmed by the Dr. I survived 11 days of high fever and after couple of blood test, i finally came out from it. A bloke who sat next to me at the medical center wasn't that fortunate. He was confirmed with Dengue hemorrhage. Could see the blood spots on his skin pigment clearly. I pray hard for that bloke and really hope he is okay now. After gallons of water intake, young papaya leaf juice and hot steamy crab soup (its true!! it did brought my blood platelet up) , i'm back at the bench briefly. This is what i came up with for the LAV. I'm going to change the LAV colour to desert scheme. I don't know if the base works for now. It took me the whole of yesterday to do this. I welcome all C & C ... oh and by the way, i used Bondite 2 part epoxy to create the tarpaulin on the deck. Thanks. More later.
  7. Hi All, I have tried with success using baking soda before. All you need to do it to prime it 1st after the coating and it will stick. I did brush off some access after photos was taken. Tonight, i'm putting some basic green colour to it as a base coat. Then will work on the rest. Just bought few packs of bondite to create canvas covering and army bags which i will put on top of the AFV. I'm also thinking to create a base for this kit. Hopefully that will be in couple days of time. Thanks everyone.
  8. Hi Folks, Some updates after a week. Been busy but this is what i manage to pull yesterday. Minor adding up to the kit body like hatch lock, hand rail (took from old PE stuff for other tanks) anti slip (white glue base, sprinkled with baking soda using a wide brush), some wires added to the front lights, tie-downs, pin lock at cable cutters base, AC connector and few more. Will prime the kit in two or three days time depending on the weather. Thanks.
  9. Hi Folks, Started this old kit stashed in the storeroom last week. So far managed to do the body and wheels section. I did some minor detailing on the wheels area (and yah, they are not 100% correct). Still have a lot to come in couple of days and hoping to have its first coat of paint by weekend. The kit is not that bad compared to the newer releases by other manufacturers. Detail wise, i'm honestly okay with it for low modeling standard. I have not been building AFV stuff for years. I also added some mud (a mixture of rail road grit, green putty and a bit of Gunze thinner to bled) to the wheel base and some areas that i think in reality where it should be. On with the progress and i welcome your thoughts. Thanks.
  10. Hi Madmonk, Yes to certain extent. BMF were used on bumpers, handles, car steering, windscreen front and back and part of the radiator. It was quite a challenge for a 1st timer.
  11. Niel, Found one at a LHS. It was Miniart Brand with cobblestones dio. Bought 'em yesterday. Have to take out the Merc today from the base. Lets see what happens... Deon, Had a surprise myself when its done. Devilfish, Your dad had one? Wow!!! Does he kept any pictures of it?
  12. That is very nice. Just don't forget to paint the strobe lights on each of the inlet duct later. Otherwise, ready to fly mate.
  13. Niel, Nice idea on the dio. Do you know where i can get one of those?
  14. Niel, I must say that IS very nice!!! How many times did you polished the car or you have a standard method to make a car that good?
