Hi Dio, I don't have information myself, but there is a new release reference book out from sam publications for the EA-6B. http://www.sampublications.com/books/combat-edge-brand-new-series/combat-edge-2-prowler/prod_1090.html It might not have what you want, but worth a look. Benson

Oh my word!!! got to get some of these. Thanks for the heads-up exdraken.

Hi JJJ, I had the same issue recently, the airbrush would "spit" when the trigger is first pulled back, but immediately stop. Tried a different brush, same issue. I was using Tamiya X-20A thinner, so tried thinning with just water, and it sprays fine now. Hope this helps, Si.

Thanks Linus, Red, It is in 1/48. I'd seen the Hobby Decal sheet, and was considering it, but I've never used rub-downs so wasn't sure of ease-of-use and thickness once applied. The Platz one I hadn't seen, but as the Hasegawa sheet included does have a pale background to the decals it should be fine. I just have to make the commitment to applying that many stencils once it's ready for them now

Had a look under the magnifier. The grey background is there. Thanks for the advice.

This is probably a long shot, but I'll give it a go..... After buying the Hasegawa F-4EJ for the two tone blue scheme, I found that the stencils included in the kit are black and won't show on top of the paint colour. The box art and all photos I can find show white stencils. Does anyone know if/where I can get a set of the correct colour? Thanks, Si.

In case you haven't solved that canopy shine issue, I use cotton wool and toothpaste (circular motion, and rinse/wipe off with water). It comes up really shiny. Si.

Excellent photo's, thanks for sharing. Somebody HAS to release that A109 scheme

Cheers Wafu, I'll check it out. Shame cobra don't ship to the UK, they have some impressive stuff. Simon.

Hi All, I want to build a 1/48 SH-60B and an MH-60R (I have the Olimp update set for the centenary paint scheme). Now I've managed to get hold of one Revell SH-60B, but I'm having problems finding another (including the Italeri version). Does anyone know if any of the other hawk versions (HH-60H, HH-60J etc) are fairly easy to convert to either of the above in 1/48? Thanks, Simon.

I spent several hours last week slowly and very gently lifting a decal (that had been in place for at least a week), with a brush and decal softener, after realizing I'd placed it on upside down - star&bars on a F-18a wing with the pointy bit going the wrong way.

No longer on the website. So presume they're sold out. The poor packaging sounds a bit dodgy, fingers crossed it gets here unscathed.

I've been searching for this Twobobs set for years. I know a few others on here have as well, so thought I'd let everyone know. Www.hannants.Co.uk/product/TB48147 Enjoy. Simon.

I use one of these and its very good. I try to vent it out of a window though, just to be sure. After all inhaling any paint particles, toxic or not, cannot be good for your lungs. For the D.I.Y'ers - if you can, spray over a "wet floor" (shallow tray filled with water in the bottom of the extractor hood/spray bay) with a cake cooling rack above it. It's amazing how much paint the water catches and therefore less to extract.

Thanks for the heads-up. Ooooh, could there be some special paint schemes planned? I normally confine myself to modern jet worship, but there's just "something" about the E-2.....

Looking forward to this one. Nice choice of aircraft.

Hi Mike, Great software. Really easy to input the current stash and adding new purchases will be a doddle. As others have said, the link and picture optons are very useful. Add the option of StashMateGo and gone are the days of loitering at a trade stand thinking "have I already got his kit?" or "I think I own the kit that this aftermarket is designed for......"., but thats probably just my poor memory. I made the mistake of showing the swmbo how useful the "report" option is for totalling the amount you've spent. I've got a feeling I'll be doing this on a monthly basis and sending it to the "financial director" Simon.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the info. I'll keep my fingers crossed then. Simon.

Hi Mike, So the Android version is read only and you need the pc version first (from market place description)? It looks really useful, but any chance of a stand-alone Android version? I packed-in using pc's a while ago, only tablets and phone now (both Android). Simon.

I've always liked the UH-1 variants, but this one is spectacular. Great job and thanks for sharing. Si. -

Great looking kit. -
Just checked the Eduard (rebox of the Academy i believe) and it has the seat halves intact. The irony is that Eduard have provided a resin replacement! So if you did want the kit version p.m me. Simon.

Great build. Love the paint scheme. Those tiny decals along the upper body must have tried your patience a bit.
