  1. Very nice looking Gripens. Love the schemes.
  2. Hi Kostas, Welcome, from Wallingford (Where Eric is staying ). Si.
  3. I've had premium and non-premium boxings of one of their other F-5's and the PE, seat and masks are the difference in those. Presume it's the same with this one. I might have to get one
  4. I hope it isn't just Italeri/Revell re-box. I have 3 of those and wouldn't buy another just for the new decals.
  5. Looking forward to seeing this one built! Always like a 🐯 , but a two seat F-18!!!
  6. I hadn't been able to get the source kit for the Neomega resin, so this is great news!
  7. Make sure you have filler handy, and be very careful when gluing the nose "side panels" in place. They can be placed so only a little filler is needed, but easy to mess up and leave some big gaps. I'm building the C & D alongside each other for scheme "Polish Tiger meet 2013" with the tiger striped conformal tanks. Si.
  8. Hi, I'm building an f-14 in splinter camo, and recently bought the amazing looking Aerobonus 1/48 Pilot/Operator figure set for it. I've just found that the heads for the two figures are different sizes.....we're not talking slightly, but a good couple of mil difference. It actually looks comical when placed in the cockpit under the canopy. I matched them up to one of the bodies and it looks like the heads need to be an average of the two to fit properly. Has anybody else used these figures and noticed this? I've contacted Aerobonus (Aires), so hopefully will get some feedback. Thanks Si.
  9. Oh yes!! .....A tiger scheme as well. On the shopping list straight away. Thanks for the heads-up Homebee
  10. Excellent looking finish. I think I might have to try building a Gundam kit, each time I see one finished I'm more tempted.....
  11. Love a good F-5, and with the Sundowners scheme too......looking forward to this one
  12. Thanks for the information. I recently finished building the "MH-60R 166524" using the Olimp conversion and the Fightertown "NAVAIR Centennial Tri-Tone Trifecta" decals. It was a slog, but looks pretty good now it's finished. Thinking of continuing with the other aircraft in the Fightertown decal sheet (F-14, F-18, EA-6B).
  13. Excellent finish! I think you've just persuaded me to get the 1/48 version of those decals
  14. Definitely not just finger trouble Its looking good so far. Please post a picture once you have the decals on.
  15. Hi Eng, I had similar issues with my AFV Club F-5F: http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/l.aspx?k=106683552 The decal shattered a few seconds after placing it in the water. I tried with another set from another kit (I really wanted to do the tiger tail) and same issue. I tried with micro Sol solution in the water, but same problem. So now I use the AFV kits, but make sure I have AM decals. It's a shame because the kits are pretty good. I haven't seen anyone give a solution for getting these decals to work consistently. Seems to be hit and miss. Benson.

Looks like the same stuff I use for 1/48 models, although I tend to place the rods (I use 2) under the aircraft so it sits on them. This obviously means I have to bend the rods to go under the aircraft. For the base I use 1-1.5 cm MDF. Drill the holes at approx the correct angles and you're away
  17. Hi Dio, I don't have information myself, but there is a new release reference book out from sam publications for the EA-6B. http://www.sampublications.com/books/combat-edge-brand-new-series/combat-edge-2-prowler/prod_1090.html It might not have what you want, but worth a look. Benson
