After purchasing a Hasegawa Lancaster ASR III w/ life boat kit recently I wanted to make an aircraft based at RAF Leuchars that I found a photo of on the web. The aircraft is RE205/BS-D whilst with 120 squadron in the white with upper grey surfaces. Does anyone know what the sizes of these codes would be (lower wings, fuselage, tail)? Also are there sky grey decal sheets for codes that do more than 30" serial code, as I suspect that these are bigger than this. I can find Xtradecal and modeldecaL but nothing higher than than the 30"

I have had the kits at war Wellington T10 decals for a while now. I originally purchased them to go with the matchbox kit. Would this be a good kit to start with or is there a better kit that I can use. Apologies if this has been asked before.

Hi. I am currently building a DH Venom NF3 night fighter. I know that the seats are bucket type and not ejector seats. Can anyone recommend a good substitute in 1/72 scale?

I know there were different marks of the spitfire used after the war and BBMF ones. But wondered were any of the MK1 aircraft used after such as trainers or were they all mostly scrapped. I seem to recall seeing a civil version somewhere whilst searching the net but cant find it now. Would like turn my lastest tool spit into something different.

Hi Steve Thankyou very much for the insite. The decals worked brilliantly on my beaufighter and airspeed Oxford. I still have the dh hornet, tempest and the C19 anson decals to use on my aeroclub model.

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on the above aircraft. Currently turning a new tool airfix beaufighter with the aeroclub winch into an RAF TT10 Using the RAFDec sheet for this aircraft it shows on instructions no yellow bands on the upper wings. 1) did all of these aircraft have upper wing yellow bands. 2) what colour were the target tow winches. I have seen profiles which show them as red but the RAFDec shows silver mount and black four bladed prop. Any help muchly appreciated.

I have a hasegawa jake seaplane that I am working on and was wondering if anyone knew the colour scheme applied to the 4 aircraft that were captured and pressed into service in indochina. I think these were a sort of blue/grey as there is a colour profile on wings palette but it doesn't say what kind of grey. Also found a black and white photo of 2 aircraft that look much lighter than the sea otters that they are next to. Any help would be much appreciated.

I was just wondering. I have a heritage aviation 1/72 Canberra b2 nose to go onto the the airfix bi8 that was brought out a few years ago. Would that make a bi6?

Good evening folks I have had in my stash a set of international apache decals that came with extras including skis for a Japanese and pods for a Dutch chopper and wondered a couple of things if anyone can help. 1) what is the best 1/72 kit to do a dutch AH-64D? 2) does the kit come with options to remove the radar and have the top part/antenna? any help would be mutch appreciated. 🙂

I have recently bought 1/72 decals for a falcon 20 Cobham/FRA aircraft and wondered are there any after market sets for the EW pods that are used on these aircraft or some other suitable stores.

I’m looking for any colour photos or information of the interior of a German Air Force Pembroke cmk 54. I have the SH kit and would like to fit it out with the radar screens that come with the kit.

I was thinking of building my xtrakit hunter t7 into a late overall green colour danish Air Force aircraft. Does anyone know if this was dark NATO green or a different shade. I have read that different countries had different shades as NATO green But wondered what would be a close match in humbrol/Tamiya/ revell aqua. Also would this have been the same shade as their draken trainers?

nice build David and thanks for the info. I picked it up for 7 quid on evilbay so just wondered how it went. I did buy it thinking it would be for the airfix kit as I have an FGA9. Modelldoc. That is also a nice hunter. I have made a matchbox, revell + odds and ordnance conversion which I still have a T8M in my stash with more revell kits. also going to have a go at the xtrakit which I know is a bit tricky. I just wanted something to work with my airfix kit that I've had for a few years.
