  1. Very nice. What are the bottles on the front. Smoke grenades at a guess?
  2. Now that is nice - I see that they were tool boxes
  3. Absolutely brill - well done Can I point you in the direction of this chap who tackles the canteen trailer near the bottom of this page. He makes good use of chrome. http://www.emgauge70s.co.uk/model_omwb96.html
  4. You've made a cracking job of that - well done. My great uncle had a few words of advice if you ever saw a tiger - "run like bloody hell"
  5. That look brill. It's no wonder that the airfix Africa Corps were voted their best release. Really nice figures bar a couple of odd poses.
  6. Thanks for the detail pics. It should help with my airfix and psc wargames ones. It actually makes the airfix hull top seem not too bad seeing as it was released in the 60's/70's
  7. Just missing the aerials. I came across a fibre optics toy in a charity shop. The black filaments are just the right size for these and are pretty handle proof. Let me know if you want a few bunging in the post.
  8. Thank you for the colour pics. I must get on with my desert brits!
  9. Now that does look mean. I like your subtle use of cammouflage colours.
  10. Thanks for the 5.5" howitzer pictures. It makes the airfix one......Do you happen toknow the breech to barrel end length as the airfix one is too long but by how much I wonder? My great uncle was in the deset so I'd like to do a little homage. He was only 5.2" but used to drice a scammell recovery tractor and didn't have a good word to say about Monty although did use some army slang when out of ear shot from his wife. The irony was he was also called Monty.
  11. Thanks that's great reference. I have some diecast T-40's awaiting stripping and detailing for a wargames army. You've shown how basic these are. I have to agree that they suit panzer grey.
  12. It has a chunky and robust look to it. I've done the 1/76 one and added the spare bowser to a body from the recovery set. Ideal for wargaming conversions. You're 1/48 version looks better mind.
  13. I love a stug. You've enlightened me too! "this particular vehicle carried spare torsion bars attached to the hull sides" - I wondered what they were
  14. I was half expecting a boxer rebellion weird wooden affair!
  15. I like the 4/1. Are they scratchbuilt tool boxes in front of it?
  16. Nice to see some serious modelling on a kit that doesn't fall together.
  17. Hi - looking good so far. Do you have any interior views of the tractor?
