This is my naval version of the I.A.R.(Industria Aeronautica Romana - Romanian Aeronautics Industry) 316B Alouette III. This helicopter was the only one of it`s kind in the Romanian Air Forces and it was prepared as a naval version in order to be embarked on the MARASESTI Destroyer, the flagship of the Romanian Navy. Both the ship and the helicopter took part in the NATO “STRONG RESOLVE ’98”exercise. I used the Heller 1/72 Alouette III kit and some scratch build pieces. I welcome all constructive criticism. These are my two Alouettes III from the Romanian Air Forces.
