Purpose of the drawings in modeling kits is to give guidance, not direct measure. But if the kit is not accurate, this mean that provided drawings are also inaccurate so no sense to make compare at all.

Kits shown here are nice. I work night scheme mostly in regards to the images but in general start with black and then spray light shades till its still wet. Light shades are something like graphite grey or similar dark shades. The rest is hand work, how did you apply pigments over panels and fade area.
Cheers

Some time ago I have read technical reports on Hellcats and note that pilots state that original belts are uncomfortable and state that Sutton belts are better. It look that they are delivered in original form and later this was changed.

Thank you Somehow I miss this point, I did this on all kits before...

One of the best build I have seen last time!

This is very complex kit and I have build one, the first one when it was released. I have used all extra etched parts delivered from Eduard. Your build is so good and promising.

A lot of job but you are going fine for now

Do you have any images of the external side of aircraft?

Blockschrift fur Flugzeug have hook on the number seven. When I make illustration I use eventually RAF fonts for the German numbers, in many cases they are similar. 487 Squadron - number did look like red seven with white outline. I guess that you can get it in various decal sheet for the Luftwaffe.

Thumbs up for your build and black cat

Must say that this is so inspirational!!! It is rare today to see builds like this one.
