  1. Sure I can, here you go....but sorry, no cigarettes in my inventory
  2. Thank you guys I'm doing antennas with fly thread called "Synton", you should get it in fishing supplies in different colors. It's really thin and strong...I'm also doing anchor points of thin 0.2mm wire as on real planes. I have described whole procedure on my friend's website Modelplac, it's in czech language but pics and google translator should explain it link to "Wire antennas"
  3. Hi friends, hellcat finally finished. Eduard did a really good job on this one, a pleasure to build....hope you'll like the pictures Cheers Ludek Thanks for watching
  4. Thanks for your comments, really looking forward to have this one finished. But also want to give attention to small details so it will take some time. Thanks, our little daughter is 3 month old now and getting nicer and nicer. Really enjoying these times...I also have a 3 years old son so preparing some small kit for him as well
  5. Some progress on Hellcat after a long time....hope will get it finished soon
  6. Works on hellcat continues...decals on place. These new Eduard decals are of excelent quality, one of the best I've ever worked with.
  7. Some progress again....chipping painted with Vallejo acrylics a fixed by GSI GX100 Gloss coat. Ready for decals now robw_uk: Yes maskol, thats it
  8. It's a GSI Mr.Color "365" from their US Navy aircraft set CS653 .... but this one is hard to get at the moment (hope reedition of these sets will come soon). You can use a GSI Mr.Color C14 Navy blue as an alternative but it appears more grayish than blue. I think adding a few drops of some dark blue into a C14 should sort it out.
  9. Thanks for your comments, appreciate it ..... camouflage almost finished, it needs some adjustments but the basis is done. All weathering done using airbrush and liquid mask (instead of salt method).
  10. Hi Frazer, nice typhoon my friend! ... I really love this plane and going to build one in next few weeks, right after the hellcat is finished. Keep it up Regards Ludek
  11. Thanks .... now, surfacer applied and ready for painting. Will be on it next week some stage, have some other plans for the weekend
  12. Hellcat ready for painting Everything fits absolutely perfect, not even a drop of filler needed...I have also finished the engine. Only a small step for the camo painting now
  13. Cockpit painted... Engine cowling and covers with interior surfaces painted... Engine almost finished, some PE parts and wiring needs to added...
  14. All main parts out of sprues and ready for painting... Engine cowling cut-out for engine display ...and assembled brassin engine Cockpit ready for painting
  15. Hi friends, I had to put all large projects on hold because of our newborn daughter (sooo little time for modelling now) but started on this 1/72 Hellcat at least .... new Eduard kit is a real pleasure to build and by my opinion, it may take a place beside tamiya kits without a shame. Everything fits really well and seems no filler will be needed at all. Pictures will tell more than thousand words... There are 4 marking options, I choose this one as I want a cannon equipped machine Also purchased Eduard's brassin engine ....and a nice display stand Box contains small set of colored PE parts (and paint masks for canopy as well)
  16. Thanks for all the responses I'm using soft light to avoid reflections on shiny metalic surfaces. Nothing complicated, just three lamps with daylight 5500K bulbs covered by paper kitchen towel to spread the light. It was my first attempt to make the pics using this method, but going to build a proper soft box soon. I have used GSI H colors on this one as per the kit instructions... H53 Neutral gray H55 Midnight blue H52 Olive drab (1)
  17. Hi all, Draken is finally finished......not quite happy with the result anyway. Modern jets are just not my cup of tea, and can't wait to build a ww2 prop again Thanks for looking...
  18. Thanks for all the nice comments Andreas Samuelsson: Hi Andreas, you are absolutely correct. I've made the black radome area too long, thanks for spotting this. I will try to get it fixed but it may prove problematic at this stage.....thanks again for your help and keep fingers crossed for the repair
  19. Up on it's feet ........ now need to finish ejection seat, canopy, position lights and game over
  20. Small step closer to finish again .... finished weathering on top surfaces. All small parts are ready to paint now, so hopefuly only a few days to make this complete. I have tried to make pics on a dark background, where the details and weathering is closer to real appearance of the kit. It was a bit dark on white background.
  21. Thanks friends You remind me of a draken kit from my childhood, it was an ancient 1/72 kit from silver plastic (can't remember manufacturer) and it was one of my favourites for a long time. But at these times, I've enjoyed models more like a toys so it was short of all protruding parts very soon. Only a compact shape of a draken allowed it to live for such long time (not much parts to break off)
  22. And this is how it looks like at the moment....decals in place and surface finished with semi gloss top coat. Now going to finish all the small stuff like undercarriage, fuel tanks, ejection seat and many others...
  23. Weathering done and gloss varnish applied...prepared for wash.
  24. Camouflage colors sprayed freehand....weathering done on midnight blue. This will unfortunately dissapear after gloss varnish.
  25. Hi all, I have this kit in my stash for almost a year and finally decided to get it finished. Building this Hasegawa kit is a real pleasure, it took me only three days to get it into a stage on pictures. Some sanding is needed on intakes and radome but other than that, everything fits perfectly.....This build is almost OOB except Eduard Zoom color PE parts in the cockpit area. Work continues....bottom sufraces painted and masked.
