  1. Thanks James. Photographs always show up flaws that aren`t immediately obvious to the naked eye!
  2. As is obvious from this thread I haven`t posted in a while but some progress has been made after a hiatus. The cockpit and undercarriage bays have been painted and the undercarriage installed in the booms, although I haven`t photographed those yet.... Cockpit and undercarriage was sprayed with Sovereign Colourcoats RAF grey -Green and Humbrol colours. drybrushed with Ammo Dio drybrushing acrylics.... Hopefully will get the airframe assembled this weekend. And that will be the furthest so far Ive got with a groupbuild! Grahame
  3. Thanks for that clarification! Now to decide…..hmmmm
  4. Finding it hard to find any enthusiasm for my allocated country, Slovakia.
  5. Had a look at my Xtradecal sheet and can supply you with WP247 for your build. Is it just the underwing serials you require? Grahame
  6. I might be able to supply you with what you need for WP247 after Ive worked out what I need.
  7. Thanks. Should be a nice easy build. I’d already assembled the cockpit and nose undercarriage previously. Assembled the twin booms and drop tanks yesterday.
  8. Fantastic subject! The T-38 looks too modern to have first flown in 1959. Must have been phenomenal when it first flew!
  9. Good morning all. I have decided to join the fray with a Trumpeter De Havilland Vampire FB5 which I have glued a few pieces together, but not much, Will using some decals from Xtradecal X48124 for an FB5 from 71 Eagle Squadron, RAF Gutersloh, West Germany, `1951. I also have a Pavla resin seat and Peewit masking set. I think the hardest part of building a Vampire is getting enough weight in the nose and cutting the underwing serials over the undercarriage doors! A couple of pics,,,,, Grahame
  10. Stunning work! Good to see so much fantastic work on BM of Brit Armour!
  11. Spot on Sherman III DV. My favourite variant of M4 in my favourite camouflage scheme.
  12. Cracking job on the A27! Have to say I’m impressed with the tracks and running gear. ! Lovely
  13. Really neat job of the Dodge. Looks great and excellent work on the weathering.
  14. Thanks for the advice. Didn’t realise that Sparmax were involved with Iwata, which is reassuring.
