Yep, it did indeed leak like a sieve on the ground, and the tyres had aluminium embedded in them to repel heat I believe.

I'm still flying the Strike Fighters series myself, the amount of user built addons means that nowadays you can fly virtually any aircraft from any era over any terrain you please.....land or carrier based.
