  2. Just arrived today. Can’t have a tank transporter with out a tank, so I’ll see what I can find.
  3. Great joy!! Something to look forward to, not. Wasn’t aware of the planned works.
  4. I built a MiG-21 for the 2017 ‘From Russia With Love’ GB. So it’s about time I built another one. Once again I will be using new Eduard’s Weekend boxing.
  5. 1/350 HMS Warrior (1860] as she’s is today at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
  6. Have a number of possibilities in the stash. Current thinking is and/or
  7. Having built a F-102 and a F-106 for last years Interceptor GB, I plan to add the following to my small collection of the Aircraft operated by the Air Defence Command.
  8. Only have one kit in the stash that qualifies, so an easy choice.
  9. Dug through the stash and found this. A 1998 boxing of a kit originally released in 1960.
  10. A plane I had never heard of and a kit I didn’t know I needed until I saw the review. Picked one up up today at Telford.
  11. As it looks like this years Dassault GB won’t make the final cut, I still have a Mirage 2000N with Ramex Delta markings that needs building, so count me in please.
  12. Would a Wasp Class Assault Ship qualify? Not a problem if not, I realise it is probably pushing the boundaries a bit.
  13. Lovely Flycatcher. My grandfather served on HMS Furious, so have a soft spot for aircraft sporting her colours.
  14. Currently available on Amazon at £6.25 a pop. Just picked up a couple. Would have been rude not too.
  15. @jackroadkill have the same rules about only building from the stash. As I have subjects for most of the GBs, must be a sign my stash is too large.
  16. Great list of GBs, looking quickly at the stash I have kits that probably qualify for 20 of the 22 group builds. Tricky decision. What ever the outcome looks like I will be busy. STGBs a lot simpler, only have kits that qualify for the F-5 and M3 builds.
  17. Don’t have a big wish list, the kits I would like to see are. One a year for the next three years will do. 1/48 Supermarine Scimitar 1/48 dH Sea Venom 1/72 HP Hampden (RAF Coastal Command)
  18. Some nice Mosquito's there. Let me add my three to the collection. All 1/72 Tamiya with Paragon Conversions. Mosquito Highball Mosquito Tsetse Sea Mosquito
  19. Finished. A really interesting subject but if I am honest I didn't enjoy this build. It tested me all the way. I can now sit back and enjoy everyone else's build. Thanks for a great GB.
  20. Piper L-4 "Grasshoper" with Broadie Hook Trials Aircraft. USA. 1943. 1/72 Kovozávody Prostějov The Brodie landing system was a method of landing light aeroplane devised by James H Brodie, a Captain of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. The method of landing involved catching a hook attached to the plane with a sling which itself was attached to a cable. The idea was the system could be fixed to small ships and also proved useful in landing aircraft in normally unsuitable terrain, such as the jungle or in mountains, and also afforded good camouflage. WIP can be found here.
  21. Photos now uploaded to the gallery. Really enjoyed this build. Thanks for a great GB. Will watch the rest of the builds with interest.
  22. Renault Ft-17 French Light Tank 4th Platoon, 1st Company, 29th Tank Battalion. May 1940 1/35 Meng. Built OOB. Build log can be found here.
  23. I’m in, got ICM’s ZiL-131 Emergency Truck in the stash. Or maybe depending on timing Airfix’s Austin K2/Y Ambulance which I have on back order.
  24. Nice start. I will follow along if I may, have a number of 1/700 Combrig kits in the stash, with a grand plan to build a number of the ships my Grandfather served on in WW1. Just haven’t found the courage to start one yet. why the interest in ships called HMS Gloucester?
