Just pulled the trigger on a Revell boxing of PK-81 : Panzer II Ausf. Built a 1/35 Tamiya kit a while ago for another GB, so thought I would give its baby brother ago. Will start a WIP when it arrives.

Chaffee finished. Work continues on the truck. Used Deluxe Glue’n’Glaze to add the windscreen. Brought everything together to produce this. Going to call this finished. Thorough enjoyed these build. Something to be said for a nice simple kit. Next up a bit of work on my F/A-18 STBG entry before starting on my two Matchbox Helldivers.

Changed my payment from method last week. Amazon gave me a £20 gift voucher for doing it. Hope they don’t want it back, I’ve already spent it on a couple of James Holland books.

Hasegawa did this scheme, so I checked out their colour call-outs on Scalemates. Looks like I need FS35237 Medium Grey over FS36375 Light Ghost Grey. Started playing around with the cockpit, comparing the kit seat with the resin seats. Revell provides decals for the cockpit, not impressed with them, think I will have a go at painting the cockpit.

On the home straight. Next up decals, hoping they are usable. Will practice with the unwed scheme first. Started work on bases, also found some suitable stowage for the back of the truck.

Some progress to report, been busy with the Olive Drab. Really enjoying this build.

Dug the kit out with the aim on making a start. Also starting my Matchbox GB build at the same time. Did get far beyond modifying the Revell box to make it more user friendly and trying to make sense of Revell's colour callouts. And finally the aftermarket I am planning on using. Aim to build it with wings folded, flaps dropped. Also not sure how I ended up with two mask sets for this.

Made a start, spent a couple of enjoyable hours on Saturday cutting and gluing. Before I long I had achieved this. I am going to paint as sub-assemblies before final assembly. Also need to sort out a windscreen for the truck, might try Glue'n'Glaze but think the openings may be a bit on the large size. As everything is basically going to be Olive Drab, i started on the Chaffee as well. Added some weights into the body of the tank, as I like my armour to have bit of weight to them, also think it helps it sit better when using rubber band tracks. I notice from the photos that there a few gaps that need filling. SO that will be the next job, before priming.

Didn't realize I had been so productive until i started compiling the list. 2/3s of them coming via group builds. First up, two entries for the Interceptor GB. Hope to add an F-101 and F-104 to the collection with thios years Century Series GB. 1/72 F-102A (Meng) 1/72 F-106A (Meng) Next up for the ANZAC GB, ICM's 1/35 Model T 1917 LCP. Then suffered a bout of resin fever with 4 builds in the Anything But Injection GB. Roman Catapult (Verlinden Productions) 1/72 Avro 720 Mixed Power Interceptor (Silver Cloud) 1/72 Hawker P.1154 Supersonic Hariwer (Silver Cloud) 1.72 Fairey Gannet AEW.Mk.3 (AlleyCat) Next up was some cheap modelling fun with the Less Than a Tenner GB. 1/35 Soviet Aerosan RF-1 (Trumpeter) 1/72 Supermarine Spiftire Mk.Vc (Airfix) 1/48 British Light Utility Car 10HP (Tamiya) I enjoyed the 'Tilly' so much that I built a couple of other Tamyia 1/48 vehicles for fun. The 7Ton Armoured Car and Dingo Scout Car, both finished as What Ifs in RAF blue. Next up I turned my attention to Skyhawks with the A-4 STGB, with Hasegawa's A-4M built as a Brazillian AF-1 Skyhawk. Outside of the A-4 STGB I also built Italeri's 1/48 Skyhawk, could make my mind up on whether I prefered it with /or without a hump, so purchased a second kit and built one of each. A 1/144 Minicraft KLM DC-3 in a blitzbuild. A 1/72 Airfix Bristol Blenheim Mk.1 in The Bristol Aircraft GB. A Renault FT-17 Light Tank in the French Fancy GB (1/35 Meng) My final group build entry of the year was in the High Wing GB. KP's 1/72 L-4 Cub with Brodie Hook. On and off through the year I also built the following Airfix 1/72 Bristol Beaufighter Mk.X Tamiya 1/35 Char 1B Bis Airfix 1/35 Cromwell Mk.VI and finally, Takom 1/72 Krupp Raumer S and Vs.Kfz.617

My entry for this GB will be Revell's 1/48 F/A-18F Super Hornet. Will be finishing it as the box art, an aircraft of VFA-102 Diamondbacks. I do like a colourful Hornet. my only other Hornet build was in the 2013 F/A-18 STGB.

Nice choice. I built this kit in the previous Hornet STGB. As I recall I had some trouble getting the nose to fit correctly. Link to my WIP, may be of some help.

My third entry is another Helldiver, this time the Curtiss SB2C-1. Introduced into service in 1942, only 4 years after the introduction of the SBC-4 biplane Helldiver. Thought it would be interesting to build them side by side to show the speed of aircraft development.

My second entry will be the Curtiss SBC-4 Helldiver. Don't ever recall building this on as a kid. Has to be finished as Yellow Wings example from USS Enterprise. Hopefully the decals will be ok.

My first entry is the M19 45 Ton Tank Transporter. Every tank transporter needs a tank to transport, I propose to build Revell's reboxing of the M24 Chaffee as part of this WIP. (Hope thats ok?)

Can’t believe I am signing up for potential 2023 GB already. Had expressed an interest in a SE5 stgb that was proposed earlier this year, so happy to throw my hat into the ring for this one.
