  1. The Halifax from Revell is a little bit tricky. So I decided for an unusual version, the Handley Page Halifax Mk II Special. For that plane I had used all parts from the box, only for the new decals I search my stash . Have a look, it is a plane from the 1586 Flight, a special duty flight, based in Campo Casale in April 1944 and hat some mission to support the Polish resistance movement: https://www.flickr.com/photos/21603181@N08/15634030096/in/dateposted/ modelldoc
  2. Combat Codes by Flintham and Thomas gave some planes the code "JEJ" There are: Spitfire IX EN398 as WCF Kenley Wing 1943 Spitfire XIV MV263 & MV257 WL 125 Wing 1843 - 1945 Spitfire XI PM147 34 Wing 1945 modelldoc
  3. You right, and this is the website to see the full interior: https://www.flugzeug-lexikon.de/Luftwaffenmuseum/Hubschrauber/Mil_Mi-8VIP/mil_mi-8vip.html (in German) modelldoc
  4. There was not "the" personal helicopter. The TG-44 had eleven Mi-8S up from 1969 in service. In the first time they had a nice painting: Later comes 13 Mi-8PS in service, all are camouflaged: All helicopters come to the transport units after a short time in service with the TG-44. The full website is here (in German): https://home.snafu.de/veith/tfg-44.htm modelldoc
  5. BTW, there was not "the" personal machine of Erich Honecker. He had used different Tu-134A and Il-62 from the TG-44 (transport Squadron 44) The Il-62 has only civil markings, INTERFLUG and the Tu-134A has both, military, with a civil touch and civil. Don't forget the An-26 Curl.Twelve An-26 are in service as apart of the LTG 65. (Lufttransortgeschwader - air transport squadron). The last plane was phased out in April 1993. There was another civil liner too. The Tupolev Tu-154 Careless. Two planes are used until 1999. The Open Skies Mission plane 11+02 crashed on September the 13 1997 in front of the coast of Namibia with an USAF C-141B. 33 human died. The other plane 11+01 was sold to Iran in February 2000. There she got the registration EP-MPL. Never forgot the three Airbus A 310 - 300 from the airline INTERFLUG. The 10+21 "Konrad Adenauer" and the 10+22 "Theodor Heus" are VIP planes and the 10+23 "Kurt Schumacher" was a transport plane for 222 passengers. 10+22 was sold in November 2011 to Mahan Air, Iran and 10+21 was sold in June 2014 to ESA as ZERO-G. The last was 20+23 was in service until 2021. modelldoc

  7. In the night of 11/12 June 1940 36 AW Whitley were dispatched to Italy. They refuelled in the Channel Islands before their long flight over France and the Alps to bomb factories in Turin. 23 aircraft were not able to reach Italy because of difficult weather over the Alps. Nine aircraft bombed Turin, not the factories, most bombed railway yards. Two other aircraft bombed targets at Genoa. A Whitley of 77 Squadron crashed in flames near lE Mans on its return flight. On 15/16 June 1940 eight Wellingtons flew from an airfield near Toulon. The target was Genoa, but only one aircraft bombed. The raid was repeated on the next night with 22 Wellingtons, 14 bombed Genoa. On the night of 18/19 August 1940four AW Whitley bombed Turin without losses. On the night of 24/25 August 1940 ten AW Whitley attacked Milan. On the night of 26/27 August 1940 eleven AW Whitley go to Milan and Turin, two are lost. On the next night there was a raid too. Raids to different targets are on the nights of 1/6 September 1940. There are also some raids in October, November and December to targets in northern Italy. On 11/11 September 1941 76 aircraft attacked the FIAT steelworks in Turin. On 22 October 1942 a longer campaign began with new aircraft, so the Lancasters of 5 Group. The campaign against Italy to coincide with opening of the Eight Army offensive at El Alamein. modelldoc

  10. Hi Julien,

Greg told me , that the buy and sell part is under your responsibility.

It would be nice if I get my normal status (VOM) back.

I'm not interested in buying and selling, because I life on the continent and the prices and cost for postage and duty are high and not  acceptable for me.

Thanks in advance for your understanding.

    Regards

  17. Sorry, here is the translation: The Douglas DC-9 (from 1967 McDonnell Douglas) DC-9 is one of the more successful commercial aircraft. From the DC-9 family (up to the Boeing 717), 2438 examples were built, of which 137 aircraft were manufactured by the DC-9 Series 10 (DC-9-11 to -15). The first flight of the DC-9 was on February 25, 1965, only in May 2006 the production of the Boeing 717 was discontinued. The prototype of the model was called D-AMOR "Loverbird" because of its registration with Germanair. "Lovebird" is also written on the left side of the fuselage. The aircraft had the serial number 45787/127 and was used by Swissair (HB-IFE) from 26.6.1967, but was returned to McDonnell-Douglas on 9.9.1968. From April 1969, the aircraft was leased to Germanair for 4 months. With brief interruptions, it then flew for Kenya Airways, Korean Airlines, Hughes Airwest, Republic Airlines and Northwest until it was retired in 2005. Sorry for all other, this is not about the F-35, but interesting! modelldoc
