Excellent news! I know several people who will be very happy with this!

I've been building model kits for more than 30 of my almost 37 years on this Earth and the announcement of this kit was as exciting to me as any of the standard kits in the 2024 range that caught my attention. I'm very keen to build one alongside the "normal" Mustang and see how that goes (it's been a while since I last built that mould and have a project in mind that requires several P-51Ds posed in flight).

Excellent news for Sabre fans! It looks like a gorgeous kit.

I wonder if we will ever know the truth behind those decisions.
It's as @Scooby said. There's no grand conspiracy being kept hidden from us, all the facts are out there and it's simple:

Thanks for clarifying that Ed - I was about to suggest a complete Red Roo kit too.

The kit looks superb, well done to all involved! I predict a few will be making their way to New Zealand! We loved our Wasps.

Hi all,
I'd love to build a model of a friend's North American T-28C in 1/72 but I'm unsure of the best way to go about it. I've previously built the Heller kit which was loads of fun but I know it represents a different variant.
What's the best combination of kit and aftermarket to represent this aircraft in 1/72?

Little bit of a shame they haven't also tooled the Kynes ornithopter, which I thought was pretty cool as well.
With any luck that and the Harkonnen version will follow...and dare I hope for a worm kit? I hear the Revell one released to tie in with the David Lynch film is less than awesome...

I don't really have words for how excited I am for this series.

I remember a History Channel documentary (Planes That Never Flew, maybe?) that had an episode all about this. I might be keen to snag one! It looks very cool with the tiptanks.

Also, it's the versions with the 20" fuselage extension but the fuselage halves in that photo appear to be the original, shorter ones.

I was excited before. Now even more so!

I love this so much and didn't realise it was based on a real "tacticat"!

Excellent news. 1/72? Where's @follasha?

I have been contemplating a IIa in 1/72 so this is great news.

11. The closed Malcolm Hood is designed in one piece including the rear rails. This allowed us to not create a another fuselage while not forcing the modeler to glue the thin lines separately.
That's a great idea. I like it!

Draw Decal also has just about every Cleveland B/C racer already available.
That's probably what I'll end up doing, but I'd kick myself several times if I did it then Eduard followed up with their own!

There were plenty of other, far more talented photogs at Reno last year but for what it's worth here are my photos of Thunderbird.

1/72 - Fletcher FU-24 Utility resin kit by Aeropoxy - box art+parts - release in April 2024

I'm the one who asked Unicraft to kit the Fletcher back in the early 2010s - I am so pleased we have a new, much better alternative to that kit. Thank you Aeropoxy! It looks terrific!
I dearly hope you consider a 1/48 version in the future, and perhaps the PAC Cresco.
