  1. Great Nimrod, gave me flashbacks of being chased around the Portland areas by these buggers, nice work
  2. Nice work, great looking model and from a Mach 2 kit not the easiest of kits to work with
  3. The Modelmaker details were quite good, in register and good colour density, just make sure they get a good soak to release them from the backing paper.
  4. Thanks for the comments, don't worry I won't be posting anymore builds, I'll just stick to admiring the work of other people. Willy
  5. So you are not a fan of this effort, I admit the panel lines are overdone and on the early HPM mouldings the panel lines and quite heavy anyway and after the wash had been applied they were a bit more noticible than I would have liked.
  6. Another High Planes Models delta, the Mirage twin seater finished as a Dagger B for the retirement of the Delta's from Argentine service using Modelmaker Decals, not my greatest model by any means but here it is. It looks like there could be a circular GPS type antenna fitted to the top of the plinth fitted on the side of the FLIR equipped airframes IMGP9938 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr IMGP0858 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr It seems to have been fitted where this circular plate was on a non FLIR aiframe IMGP0850 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr Willy
  10. Another great looking Mirage, nice finish
  11. My latest completion is an early boxing High Planes Dagger A completed as a Dassault Mirage IIIR as it appeared at Exercise Royal Flush 71 after it had been zapped by other squadrons, I used the HPM kit and added a photo recon nose that I had left over from a PJ Productions Mirage V, the decals are from Decals Carpena 72.08 a sheet I first got sometime in the mid 90's I think. _IMG1407_1 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr _IMG1401_1 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr _IMG1402_1 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr _IMG1413_1 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr _IMG1411_1 by Phillip Wilmshurst, on Flickr Hope You enjoy Willy
