having build that model there is no detail sets for this kit so you are going to have to wing it. l used bits and pieces from various sets and had to make my own glass displays for the cockpit though with Airscale's PE detail parts sets you can get those in PE now. l can't find my built at the moment but l could find the other

  2. I have the Hasegawa F-111C/G kit, which if I'm not mistaken has all of the parts to build either an F-111C or an FB-111A (which is what the G model really is). It has both the Triple Plow I and II intakes. With Triple Plow I, you can build 151974, and with Triple Plow II, you can build either of the pre-production aircraft. The latter two require a different nose than the other F-111Bs.

    Cheers,

    Bill

    good to know

  3. Good news! That's my plan for the upcoming F-111 group build. I have your F-111B monograph, plus the errata and addendum, plus bookmarks for all of your F-111B web pages. I'm sure that I will still have many questions!

    Cheers,

    Bill

Personally l was going to beat the old Revel kit into a Hasegawa C to make one. Just haven't worked down to it on my list of model builds yet

l know some of you vehicle enthusiasts like what is different so l am posting this for you guys to see. Whether some of you know it or not but it is classified as a motorcycle and is licenced as such. The occupants must wear helmets when riding in it. It was parked at my local grocery store l frequent and l took the photos cause it is unique. By the way it is worth $30,000 cnd!

  5. Thanks Simon. Ooh, sticks of rock... one of those things that I used to get as a kid and then realise I didn't really like the stickiness. It's triggered my 'treat' circuits though so I'll be off hunting for something nice, always hard in this 'healthy' house.

Thanks Adrian, glad to have you along!

Morning Keith. Was trying to find some 'funny' comment about flat heads but I have nothing... Decorating or modelling? No contest!

Primed with Stynylrez, no problems, can't see the joins / filler (hooray!):

I am finding that Stynylrez is good stuff if used as directed. I provides a very nice smooth finish for painting.
