  1. OK gent here is the scoop on resprators. If you have the right filter for spray painting great thats a start but proper care and maintance is important . Each and every time you use it once done you should take out the filters and place them in a plastic zip lock bag, squeezing the air out and sealing it. The reason?? filter are constantly working and to extend the life of your filter you need to shut it off hence the baggy and getting rid of the air in it. you do this each and everytime you use it. Keep all new filters in there bags until you need to replace the old one. If you happened to open it to inspect it then this too must be resealed in a spare baggy. The things you learn on the job Hacker

  6. l don't subscribe to any one magizine what l usually do is head to the nearest book store or hobby shop that carries the mags l want and l have a look. If it interests me then l buy it but if its one of those issues that oh hum then it stays on the shelve and l save some money. SAM had not let me down for interesting articles and once in a while Fine Scale surprises me with some thing of interest. l also get non model aircraft mags like Aeroplane monthly or some other mag that has some useful info l can apply to building what l have stashed away,. hacker
  7. Much like our CF-105 it was ahead of its time but the What ifs will always be there and the what really went on here will always remain. You are right the "J" version of the phantom was much better then the sprey engined version but still it it did sterling service for you chaps where as we had the bombard missile to defend canada until some one wised up and realized that missles alone could not defend a country so we ended up with CF-101 voodoos, starfighters and freedom fighters all which where substandard to the the Arrow. Oh well. As for you TSR-2 fine peice of work there you done Hacker
