  1. Not sure if these came up in your searches, but they're a couple of my walkarounds from primeportal.net

I do hope you'll find them of some use.

Thanks l did not run into these during my search ( dont know why) the engine detail was of special interest to me

I think I have a copy of the 4+ book on the Hind at home if you are interested in it? Its a great ref on the Hind. I may also still have the Verlinden Lock on as well.

Shoot me a PM and we can work it out.

You know this always happens when l am working and have money l dont get offers like this but when l am between jobs and broke then l get offers there is just no justice in the world somedays :shithappens: l would very much like to take you up on your offer but the lack of funds puts the kibosh on it sorry thanks anyways always appreciate l kind and generous offer

  2. For transmission details look at the Mi-17 aswell, they are virtually the same IIRC. I've also got a fairy decent walkaround on ARC Linky of the RSLAF aircraft which may be of some use.

yeah Greg caught that on my web search but sometimes you can come up with some pretty dam good pics of exactly what you need then other times pickings as slim expecially details shots

  3. Starting to gather intell on the Hind. l wish to open certain panels to show interior details in those areas. l got engine details but may need rotor transmission details and wheel well details along with the usual rear interior details ( not cockpit got lots of those)

l am also interested in where the ammo for the rotary cannon is stored. l am very interested in what behind these shaded area in the above drawings as l wish to expose these also but my Internet search yielded very little on this.

The only one l could find is this b/w picture of the left side which as you can see does not show anything very well. So if you gents have any pictures to pass along to me it would be greatly appreciated

  4. Einstein once said " Two things are constant. the universe and human stupidity and l am not too sure about the universe" The TSR-2 and the Canadian build Avro CF-105 Arrow were both victims of the first. My two cents

  5. what l have used in the past is invisible thread. If you are doing 1/72 its prefect for me as it has the to scale look about it. the beauty is that once you attached both end in even if it has a little slack l use a hot nail or something to that effect that when placed near thread it shrinks a bit and the line get taught. The trick is not getting too much slack and learning how long to hold the hot nail or what ever near it so you don't over shrink it.

This is how l rigged this airfix 1/72 Hannover and you can see the results here

  6. flightpath and hertiage just about covers it as l dont think there is anyothers that l know of. Over at Large Scale Planes there is a really nice F/A 2 conversion going on there ( think its posted here too) Seeing the that conversion how hard would it be to make a GR5/7 or AV8B out of it???

  7. looks like a pic of it after refit. notice that the mast is still in front where as the forecastle is now extened back further. You could easily use the matchbox kit with the approriate modifications. The reasoning for the extented forcastle was for more space and crew comfort. Before you had to walk between superstructure to get to the kitchen and back to the mess hall. Alot of the times the crew return to the mess hall with soggy food from the weather. The number and the mast is a dead give away when it was built. Do some more digging l think you will find out l may not be too far off the mark here
