ok you have a lot of choice here. MRP paints makes a good meticalic paint then there is gunze super metallics which is good and my go to paint is the AK extreme metals which like the MRP paints are hard as nails once painted.

First try Canada there are rail way shops here that may have what you need. Badger has a selection of paints and if you can find it try finding Floquil. It not made anymore but that was a recent thing so some rail road shops may have some in stock. l have a floquil paint chart with paint chips not printed reproductions.You may have to resort to custom mix your paint as many model railroads will do as getting exact colour is a challenge in itself. As for thinning Humbrol if you are using their thinners toss it out. go with either Tamiya lacquer thinners or if you can get it Gunze laquer thinners with a self leveling additive which l use and just love it. it will thin just about anything with exception to your waist line.You could also try badger model flex. l have used that on some Model trains l painted for a guy and they work ok just with it do not waste time as it does dry quickly but has a good finish. Also l never go with call out colour. Think outside the box and physically look at a paint colour as it maybe for another rail road name but colour is colour and if it matches go with it.l have used rail road colours for aircraft cause the colour happened to be a perfect match.

Needs work and additions. Yesterday l order some parts from Barracuda Studios for my Tamiya Mk XI. If l knew l needed another seat l would have ordered it. But it is a builders kit, not the shake and back people like. Work on it and it will come out looking good

Just noticed the instructions you posted....CRAP! l just order that silver spitfire decals for the one that is coming and l didn't need them...Oh well. l have to check my references but l am pretty sure the wheel well bulge is not present on that particular plane

The armoured back plate is not hard to make, rather simple actually. Funny they did not include it. Seeing everyone else has done war time Mk IX it probably why Revell did post war wings with the bugle for the bigger tires. Sanding it off is easier then trying to replicate or find an aftermarket part. Other variants coming? Mk XVI perhaps?

To add to this thread it seems MRP paints has Have Glass now. Still haven't figured this all out yet myself

l read ( not know how accurate the article was ) said that the last red flag the F-22, F-35 and the F-15 combined in a combat scenario had an impressive 40 to 1 kill ratio ! Modern electronics in the Eagle along with being tied into the raptor and the lightning systems along with the AWACs how could you do any better?

Yah because they were not North Korean Migs but Russian! Red stars and all! One made it back to base only to crash killing the pilot. Seems the Russian pilot were a bit over confinant and decided to take on the lone American....big mistake that cost them!

The thing is with Mig 29 models they always have the top intake doors open where the majority of 29s have them closed. Easily fixed.

Got a 1/32 PCM Mk IXe on the go at the moment

Mike been getting stuff in slowly and assured me that it will be added to the list as he gets it. Now having said that there been indications that he has the molds also and plans to mold parts as the orders come in. Personally l am waiting for the Ah-1G conversion in 1/48 and a few other parts. He also have some interesting stuff in hus own line as well
