  1. Been contemplating buying brushes from this ebay store called abcbrushes. They are new but seconds with some flaws in them. I haven't heard any negative feedback yet on them and what you can buy usually for one brush there you can sometimes buy up to 10!
  2. The airfix kit still a good kit despite it's age
  3. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234986727-badger-stynylrez-primer-thoughts-reviews-alternatives/ So far this seems to be the best going. Watch the videos and jjudge for yourself
  4. problem is you just can't add Lancaster wings to a York as there are differences l believe. Having a wider fuselage required some of the inner wing to be modify making is a bit shorter between the fuselage and the inner engines. if you look l think the propellers are closer to the York fuselage then on the Lancaster. l could be wrong but l am sure this is the case
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llD_DjsiLx0#t=3.3 Phil likes it so l am in
  6. http://www.wwi-models.org/Images/Karr/CP/index.html I am going to revamp the whole thing from scratch. The decals were 1/32 5 pattern enlarge to 1/28 then printed on my inkjet printer
  7. http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=29199&hl=hacker#entry254826 Started this awhile ago but when information came to light about the problems associated with the kit l decided to shelve it. I have to redo the wings and fuselage. I got fairly cheap another Fokker minus the engine just got to get back to it. http://www.wwi-models.org/Images/Karr/CP/index. scoll down a bit
  8. Word of warning the plane was badly researched. The model was based on one in a museum that was converted to a duel seater which entail enlargement of the fuselage to accommodate a second person. The museum converted it back but didn't fix the fuselage. The wing should be flat across the span but it is opposite. I do have an article on what to fix and how if you're interested. They issued the kit only once but not since. I think they realize the mistakes and put it on the shelf of shame
  9. you may find that Mr Paint has the right shade of interior colour
  10. Want one too cause it is different it us here that odd! I also like the XP-67 moonbat only cause it looks like the grandfather of the SR-71
  11. I have the old Airfix B.2 in the stash so watching this one with interest. The kit is fairly accurate but the nose and fish bowl canopy need replacing. It does also lacks detail but nothing l can't handle. I also have an engine for it as well
  12. Worked in maintenance have we?
  13. want the A-36 version myself but these are getting harder to find. There is an after market cockpit for the A-36 and P-51 but who does it eludes me at the moment *note* having said that l found that Vector makes them*
  14. The problem with the Revell U-5 is that it is the Italire kit and it was short in the nose. The U-4 that came afterwards was better but the U-7 is spot on just have to modify it to a U-5 and it comes with the parts for both U-4 and U-5. Sorry been doing my home work on this
