  1. I found the decal sheet l need. FYI Microscale 72-23 famous fortresses. Now have to decide to get the old Revell E or back date the Hasegawa F

  2. lets face it. No matter how we wish, whine, cry or connive it ain't going to happen. Neil been out of the business for a while now and is happy what he is doing. Sure l would love some of the conversions he made ( keeping an eye out for a 1/48 bronco set myself) but sometimes you just have to either take the bull by the horns and do it yourself, wait for someone else to do it, or forget it and move on.

  3. we all have to start somewhere. My first airbrush was a cheap Badger 350 knock off back in the early 80s. worked for several years before giving up the ghost ( what do you expect for $20) Being used to the 350 style l bought an original 350 and used that until it died and was replace with ,yes you guessed it another 350. Now l also got a 150 from a chap fairly cheap but yet to use it as it is unfamiliar with it. We all have bought cheap stuff and gotten away with it in some cases while others we well...... binned them or ended up as wall decorations

  4. Effect of scale on paint-what are people's views? :work: Well for me it falls into the category of "Who cares and just paint the dam thing!" Some of us as modellers over think this stuff and l really never bought into it. Weathering yes, fading of fabric surfaces yes, even the occasional pre shading but scale effect nope. To me olive drab is olive drab whether from 2 inches or 2 miles it still the same colour. :coat:
