Airshow machines carrying smokewinders will have the 16S210 launchers fitted because the smokewinders are not compatible with the LAU-129. So Revell is right :-) Nowadays the 16S210 is still in use on the F-16A/AM because some airforces simply did not buy enough LAU-129s.....

Indeed. Just a little disappointed the Qatari and two colourful French AF options on the 48th scale sheet have not made it onto the 1/72 sheet. Oh well, maybe Mirage F1 part 3 is in the works. Plenty of F1 schemes that have never found their way onto a decal sheet.....yet.

Question about Special Hobby Mirage F1 (1/72)

I know it isn't, I only said it looked like a pylon. Thank you very much for the useful pictures! -
Question about Special Hobby Mirage F1 (1/72)
Pollie replied to Phantome's topic in Aircraft Cold War
I've been doing some research as I want to build one of my 'simple kits' as an F1CT. It seems most parts for the CT/CR are there. The late (post-1992) CR/CT aircraft had the Matra Corail chaff/flare dispenser below the wingroot on both sides. This looks like a standard pylon, but I have yet to find a detailed picture of it. It is not included in the kit. It also doesn't have the absurdly large centerline tank but two of the smaller tanks. -
垂直尾翼ラダーをロシア国旗の三色で塗り分けたロシア空軍の「赤72」を再現。 キットのパーツはICM社製をセットします。 This what the Hasegawa site says. I don't speak Japanese but it says 'ICM'....

Eduard will release a 1/72 MiG-21 family, they've already announced that. But the project seems to have stalled somewhat and other projects have taken priority. Sadly, scaling down from their 1/48 range of MiG-21s means we won't see an F-13 or twoseater :-(
-
I'm hoping Eduard will seperately release the Mi-24D specific parts so I can convert more Zvezda Vs into Ds. Or some kind of Overtrees Mi-24D to get the most of the Mi-24D decal options in the special boxing!

As was the case with their 1/72 F-4 Phantom, this snap kit looks amazing.

Nobody said you needed to build a boring grey C-17! There are options....
-
I was hoping Revell would do one since they pumped out a few large 1/72 models in the past 10 years (Shack, A400M, C-160, C-54) but I'll gladly buy the Kinetic kit!
-
Hannants has also announced a 1/72 Mirage F1B two seater decal sheet in their Xtradecal range. Most likely a scale down of their 1/48 sheet.

Me neither. They said 'modern' transport plane :-) . Nevertheless happy with a CASA 212, lots of countries fly/flew it in a lot of different colour schemes.....- 120 replies

That canopy looks really bad. Was it a fluke or standard for this kit? -
1/48 - Aero L-39 Albatros by AMK (AvantGarde) ?
Pollie replied to 172flogger's topic in The Rumourmonger
Hungary flew the L-39ZO, not the L-39C! -
Yes, Soesterberg was CR code.
-
The USAFE 32TFS at Soesterberg AB, Netherlands actually received F-15A/B models AFTER they got rid off their C/D Eagles in the early nineties......
-
Kinetic should lay off the artist who produced the boxart though; compare the colour of the two warning triangles on the forward fuselage to the Hasegawa boxtop photo Impressive decalsheet!
