    How can you think this a great kit when all they've shown is boxart and CAD images? At 40$ for the F-104G and 6500 Yen ($60) for the announced F-104J plus 12$ shipping they are at least as expensive as Hase. Don't get me wrong: I really hope this will be a good kit that blows the Hasegawa one out of the water. But for now holding on to my Hase ones!

    The (minor) downside to the 1/72 Hase kit is the lacking centreline pylon + fueltank. The Hobby Boss boxtop does show a T-4 with the centreline fueltank but is that also in the box? Some JASDF T-4s have been spotted flying around with some kind of 'sniffer' pod on the centreline, would be great if that was included.

    Would have loved a conversion set for the Eduard MiG-21MF. And the decalsheet to include some of the wing/squadron badges the Lancers carry nowadays. Oh well...

    I have a gut feeling Hasegawa will announce a 1/72 F-35C at the Shizuoka hobbyshow coming May.....

    I really hope that's true but not holding my breath....Hi-Decal have announced quite a few things in recent years but very little actually materialized.

    They made the same mistake KP made many moons ago. It sits on its gear way too low throwing the look of the model off. Just do a google image search for Su-22 and you'll see what I mean.

    I was there on 25 September (after a visit to E-day in Prague the day before :-) ) and found the Chipmunk in Hangar 3 which was still open on that date.

    Hasegawa just released a dual kit box of the Polish F-16D. Hopefully that comes with all the correct goodies. But since you are after a single-seater that might not work :-(

    And.....sold out at the Eduard webshop. That's 1500 kits in just four days. Not bad!

    The model represent excellent value for money. A real must have in my opinion. The book is extremely nice too, mine was even signed by the author on saturday :-) This was my fifth Eday and although it is more than 750 km one way I will be there in 2017 for sure!

    This project doesn't seem to have advanced much as today at Eday in Prague a similar testshot was on display... Hoping for a Spanish AF version when it actually gets released.

    As said earlier somewhere (but I don't recall where), there will be a sprue from the Zvezda Mi-24A in the box containing the Falanga missiles and rails. There is also a resin part with the D nose sensors. Anyway, will try to take some pics tomorrow, if I don't get caught up in the stampede when the show opens.....

    1/72 Mirage IIIE of AMK quality. Brrr, sends shivers down my spine out of pure excitement! I'll take half a dozen to start with.
