    Well i still hope that early mi-8T has a chance. Cowl is separated, so i guess thats a positive thing, Tailrotor can be reversed even with minimal surgery if needed. Not sure if there are other noticeable changes....

    Well, since here is an extensive thread; Any chance we shall also se an early mi-8? The one with elongated intakes, rounded exhausts, no APU, STB tail rotor? regards, M
