  1. Thanks Latinbear. I was hoping to put my new 80-400mm lens to the test, but unsurprisingly, there was no flying! However, it was nice to get some unobstructed pictures of airframes in the hangars with my compact camera.
  2. Wow, they look great. Very well presented. I'm sure that your colleague was delighted.
  3. Great start to an interesting-sounding theme. I haven't built any resin kits, so can't offer advice, but I'll watch this build with interest. (My wife bought me a tank driving experience for my birthday a few years ago, which involved driving a Chieftain, an FV432 and an Abbott SPG - great fun!!)
  4. Great work so far. Like TempestV above, I've had a taxy ride in Jane, so I'm following your build with interest. I have the KitsWorld decals on back order from Hannants. I look forward to the final instalments of your excellent build.
  5. Thank you very much for the kind words, Houston. Your enthusiasm is a great motivator! Happy New Year!
  6. Thanks for that. Might have to have a go at mine!
  7. Thanks Radleigh. I guess there are cost implications in repainting "Sally B"? I agree that it would be nice to see her in another (more authentic) scheme. Thanks, mate. Yes, the Conservation Hangar is open to the public, and one can often see work being undertaken. Well worth a visit!
  8. Thanks for the kind words, Dermot. I hope the conservation of the Shackleton starts soon, but I don't know where she will go when the conservation is complete.
  9. Stunning modelling and photography. The final picture looks incredibly realistic. Well done.
  10. I love the finish on the APC and the figure looks excellent. Well done.
  11. Thanks Steve. I guess that you are a liitle too far to visit regularly! Thanks Mark. The Shack is in the Conservation Hangar (and my goodness she needs it after all those years outside!) There's no sign of any work in progress, though.
  12. Hi I spent a very pleasant day at a wintry Duxford with a mate today and couldn't resist taken a few shots of the local inhabitants with my compact camera. I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for looking.
  13. Very convincing weathering and the figures look great too. Well done.
  14. That is a sensational model with very convincing weathering. What method did you use for the paint chipping?
  15. Very nice JWM! I guess it won't take up too much space in the display cabinet! Merry Christmas.
  16. Exceptionally realistic-looking bird. Well done.
  17. Hi Phil Sorry that I can't help with your main question, but to edit your title, you need to click "Edit" and then use "Use Full Editor". Hope that helps.
  18. They certainly are worth the effort - you have more patience than I !
  19. Great scenery and very reasonable prices. I like the fact that you download once and can print as many times as you like.
