  1. Saw a Facel Vega here in Perth with a roof rack and ladder on top!
  2. I used to have a brown Alfasud! Lovely to drive but riddled with rust. Span it on the motorway in northern Holland in a torrential downpour.
  3. I ordered another non-car kit. I'm sorry to disappoint you all. This time it is a sci-if kit. K-2SO Hopefully my McLaren 570S will be here from Japan soon. Still not available locally. I see that Gravity Colors have Volcano Orange available! (Can't get Zero Paints shipped to Oz)
  4. I followed the build as I also have a Fujimi 917 and yours has turned out just brilliantly Shaun. I'll be happy if mine is half as good.
  5. For your first car kit and a troublesome one, you've done a wonderful job. Good presentation too. Welcome to Britmodeller!
  6. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Valentino+Rossi+transkit+hawaii
  7. For a moment there I thought Foggy had bought a Porsche! Rossi transkit: http://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=3251
  8. To be honest the Hyperstrada was an odd beastie. Probably not comfy enough for touring and no better than the motard in the twisties, but more expensive. I did a day's ride on mine and I would have liked the 'strada screen as the wind blast is a bit tiring. I expect the 950 Multi is quite a good bike. Does it have all the electronics of the bigger bikes? Looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labours on the wheels. Please post pictures of your coat of shiny stuff.
  9. Yes, and the white coat has a lovely pocket full of pens! That post made sense at the time, glad it provided some humour! How's that Panigale coming along? And Shaun, I have only 2 cars on the go, so even worse performance compared to you. It's still quite summery here (it's officially autumn already) and I've also started mountain biking again, will be spending more time indoors as the weather cools and the nights get longer.
  10. Whatever next? A 2CV or R4 fourgonette reincarnation* based on the Berlingo? A Transit with one primer grey front wing and some fake rust? *Reintarnation: When you die and are reborn as a hillbilly.
  11. I am making slow progress with this one. Have the body in primer and have started assembling the mechanical gubbins that are visible at the rear of the car. Plenty more to see in the builds by Borez and Shood23. I hope to get some more work done over Easter, maybe get a white coat on and some Martini decals.
  12. Just build a diorama with some spare bits and a puddle of oil on the floor! Luckily Ducatis are much more reliable these days, now that they are owned by Audi. I love my Hypermotard.
  13. Looks lovely, Rick. Good to see someone, slower than me at finishing kits
  14. Oh yes it was sold in the U.K. Not just England. Are you confusing it with the Taunus coupé? The actual Sweeny Granada used to park near our house when I was a kid as the driver "George" lived up our road!
  15. Almost 100 pages! Has anybody finished one yet?
  16. Ebbro Lotus 72 plus Tabu Gold Leaf decals already exists. I imagine the same for the 917 but from Fujimi. Some very underwhelming choices here. I know it's all wishful thinking but Cortinas????
  17. No need to build a wall. After the vote your stash will be worth almost nothing.
  18. Probably a better chance of Ebbro making some of these, rather than Tamiya! I'd really like to see Ebbro come up with some 1/12 scale F1 cars.
  19. Lotus Elise S1 McLaren F1 (Road car) Modern Le Mans Audi or Porsche (Or maybe even one of the junior formula cars) And on bikes - 1/12 Britten V1000 and Ducati Hypermotard 939 please.
  20. The kit is 195mm long, the real thing is 4280mm long. My appalling maths makes that about 1/20
  21. I've just ordered the Revell McLaren 570S from Japan as it's still not available in Oz. Will get the volcano orange paint from Gravity Colors to go with it. Also ordered carbon and sponsor decals for the MP4-31.
  22. I've just ordered a left handed screwdriver. Special for today only!
  23. Love it! Jenson looks great too, very realistic. Enjoyed your build and the results are fabulous. Kev.
