  1. Talking of over priced E-bay kits. A 1/48 RN Gannet and a Skyraider AEW would be rather nice. PLEASE!!! Agree that they should put some RAF/RN/FAA Phantoms on the 1/48 to do list. 1/48 ground support? YES PLEASE. Ian M
  2. I to have been waiting for the day. Now its here I find I have one in the basket, yet chicken out at the checkout. I have a feeling that I'll wait until its in the shops and then order one or two. It will give me time to see if it builds as well as they say it does. Ian M
  3. They have said that it will be on the site the first of April. I sense a rush on their servers that day. Ian M
  4. The shop that sold you the kit should take care of that. its them that sold it to you. You could also consider a three part former. Make it in three slices, the blown sides and a central part. Once you have done the vac forming pop out the centre part and the sides will follow. Ian M. A good tip to others buying expensive kits. Look at all the parts either in the shop before you pay, or as soon as you get it home. maybe I'm lucky but the two times I have found missing/defect parts dong this they have exchanged them with out problems.
  5. WOW that is Ace. Have you ever considered a bank loan and a 3D printer..... "print" them to order in the scale required...... from 1/144 right up to 1/16. make a fortune and then sell the files with a kick back and you are on the way....... Great work. Ian M
  6. All I know is the later marks did have longer legs to enable the use of larger propeller, and still have good ground clearance. Ian M
  7. OMG its a disaster!!! Surely a purist would paint the bloody roundels any way. Eduard have been so open during the production of this kit and have been very open for feed back. maybe it would of been better to mention it there, instead of slaughtering it on here. Ian M
  8. Re the freezer bag/clingfilm tip. It works even better with thin latex rubber, you know as found in packets of ...... latex gloves.. :-P Ian M
  9. I would just like to see good models of every day cars. VW passat, Ford Mondeo, Suzuki Swift. That kind of thing. Scale ? 1/35 would be good for the Diorama boys, 1/24 for the motor heads or 1/12 for those that like em big!!! I wonder if they could get the car makers to pay for the tool and give all the info. The More they pay, and give the better the kit. Great PR/advertising for their marque. Buy a new ****** and get a scale model of it for the lad! Pigs will fly first.

  13. Simple question, What can I hang off the bottom of an FG1 off of Ark Royal that would be realistic for the time frame. Ian M
  14. Whats COIN ? Latin America. as in South America...I always thought that Ecuador was in South America. Just next to Peru... Sorry I'll behave.
  15. How about putting them back by mistake! LOL
  16. Sorry mate but I to am in the same corner. Do I want to pay for a but ugly Mig to score the discount and club only kits. They are opening a new membership run.....With the same butt ugly Mig as the entry fee. ALMOST any other kit would of gotten my money with out to much thought. OK it flew the CZ flag, but I'm sure that they had some better looking birds, in their Air force!! I suspect I'll end up buy it anyway, there is always the for sale section!!! Ian M
  17. Ditto Nice new scalpel blade, nice heavy stainless steel handle, straight through the thigh of a new pair of jeans. Oh and I was wearing them at the time. Could of been worse, four inches to the left and......... Ian M
  18. WOW! Unoriginal I know but sums it up nice! Ian M
  19. I have been holding off on the 1/48 lanc due to where to put the thing...A 1/32 scale one......I think I will pass on that. Would love the 1/48 bomber command though.
  20. The NeOmega Cockpits and Bang seats are the dog danglies! If you try one you will be hooked! Ian M
  21. Regarding the Metallic OD for the Danish version. Have you looked at Vallejo's metallic medium. Mix it into any of their model color range, and you get a nice fine corned metallic effect. Some great photos in that ipms.dk link by the way. Ian M
  22. The center rudder was indeed on a short post as you have gone for. A photo showing the transom is as rare as rocking horse sh.....teeth. Here is what I came up with. The link was from what I could work out just around the waterline. Hope that helps a bit. Ian M
  23. A very nice build indeed- I was pleased to see the 'brassin' bits. Been thinking of getting some. Those bang seats are mind blowing. Ian M
