  1. It would be nice to include at least a set of markings for one of the VMFT-401 Tigers. They had some of the most interesting Adversary paint schemes. Cheers, Bill
  2. I can almost hear the nugging ... "but you already have this kit !!!" YES, but it's not a new mould dear! I have the old Testors.
  3. Thank you for the update, but is there a list we can put our email, so to be notified when the new canopy will be available for sale as a separate set? Cheers, Bill
  4. Despite its age the Hasegawa kit still looks great! Job well done mate! Cheers, Bill
  5. Yes, I know what you mean John. There are so many companies these days that you can easily lost count. You've got companies that are the star for a few years and then suddenly they disappear or in worst-case scenario declare bankruptcy . It's hard to keep up.
  6. Cheers John. I guess I have missed several things that have happened to the scale modelling scene! How things change ...
  7. I can't believe the level of this work!!! And the commitment! The only thing that I noticed and it doesn't make sense is the three aircrafts on the elevator. I think the biggest elevator had the capacity to carry/lift only two aircrafts. For example, an A-7 and an A-6. Again, my kudos for this outstanding diorama!! Cheers, Bill
  8. Beautiful kit. Pity that it is not within my scale-range but I'll just have to wait a few more years, until my presbyopia gets much worse!
  9. A bit thick on the edges but definitely a must-have for any F-15 collection. Aside from this, who is "Carrera?" Have I missed something here? Did a company named Carrera bought Revell Germany?
  10. How can anyone resist this triple-bottom line temptation??? Double-cockpit (double the pleasure!), 1/48 scale, and a splinter scheme!!!!
  11. Wow, it's been a year since this review and I have to say the KP kit is quite nice. A bit soft "on the edges" but nice. However, with that said, I believe the Fujimi kit still stands the test of time (with the exception of the decals and the seats, among some other things). So, if I had to choose between these two the answer is easy ... BUY BOTH!!!!
  12. I can almost hear the Squadron Commander, yelling at that RIO through the intercom!!! Canopy kaput! Piloten kaput! Aeroplanen KAPUT!!! Das ist unacceptable!!!!
  13. If you're on the control tower, ask the German Phantom RIO to check his canopy. It seems unlocked or perhaps it has some glitch!!!!!🤣 Seriously now, beautiful work mate. Cheers, Bill
  14. I had a surgery on my right knee and the painkillers didn't do much to minimise the pain. So, I said to myself, "stop being grumpy old man and take the pain!" I'm feeling better now but, doctor's orders "DO NOT STEP." I feel like an F-104 flap!! Cheers, Bill
  15. Yeap! the demon that lives at mach-1 has hit again!! instead of saying E I said G!! Oh boy. too many painkillers can ruin your day!
  16. Beautiful work so far Daniel. I really like how you managed to thin the wings' trailing edges. Cheers, Bill
  17. I saw a lot of ideas for future dioramas!!!! Many thanks for sharing these photos Sven! Cheers, Bill
  18. Looks like lad that you have made part of my Christmas list!!!! Cheers for the suggestions & links. Cheers, Bill
  19. Cheers mate. When I started our hobby four decades ago - at least at the beginning - I had the habit to buy a book or books to learn as much as I could about the model aircraft I was building, and from time to time this habit "re-emerges." I will have a look at the suggested link!! Cheers, Bill
  20. Interesting fact. Can you suggest a book that covers this aspect of the aircraft's history? Cheers, Bill
  21. Beautiful work and one of the must-have kits in any collection!!!
  22. Who can resist a Tomcat - in any scale? This must be the good-old Monogram kit?
  23. I believe Wolfpack used to make an upgrade set for the specific Block, and then as a starter you have the Airwaves sets (hard to find though - both). Cheers, Bill
