I am interested in modelling a Jetstream T3 using the Airfix kit as a basis. I know that Omega do a resin model of the T£ but at the eye watering price of £130 there is no way that I would buy that! So the Airfix kit it must be. I know that the kit has a Garret engine which would need to be modified for the engine of the T3. My question therefore is has any BMer done such a conversion, and if so what sort of issues did they have to go through? And what advice would they give ( don't do it/buy the Omega kit?) I've just bought Modeldecal 100 which has an interesting selection onf Vampire markings on it, including a number for the F3. My question is did the Vampire F3 have rounded wing tips or clipped wing tips as per the FB5/9. The photos I have of the F3 in service suggest that they may have been rounded by I have no definitive photo or info to confirm this. Can any BM Vampire afficianado advise please? Thanks, John

This question has often puzzled me too and I would like to find out a bit more. Where can I get a copy of the Air Britain article from? Incidentally I have the Freightdog conversion for the ECM6 and very good it is too. Colin has also done decals for 2 Further Avengers in his Brits at Sea part 2 sheet. John

While driving along the A272 this morning, wokkas taking off near Midhurst and low over the road at Ambersham Commom. They looked as though they were having fun!

I saw the wokkas as well - and there were another 2 (or the same 2 ?) earlier in the week.

I ordered mine from Hobbylink Japan yesterday - all went very smoothly. I hope that the customs don't select it foe examination!
