    sticks and wires mostly .
  1. TeeELL , I believe only the prototype 'MOTHER' was built with boilermakers pitch - and unhardened plate ( an unnecessary cost as it was considered experimental only.) Engineers pitch was employed on all production types thereafter.
  2. Hi Beardie , It was a 'friend or foe' board , a crewman would point to a symbol i.e '?' until the the nationality was verified . (The F2b at Hendon has one )
  3. Hi Crayons , here is a decent walkaround for you - - apart from a mixture or old/new style tracks it is pretty stock ( unlike the majority of existing examples )
  4. http://www.oocities.org/pentagon/quarters/4635/tanks/is/isu152_armor_scheme.gif - Lower rear plate @ 41 degrees + upper plate @ 49 degrees ( from vertical datum ).
  5. . . . And just because I have got my new camera working here's a gratuitious shot of the loaders hatches ( epicope will be fitted after painting ) . . . Just the small stuff to do now , engineers tools / clasps , box . Lights will be via LED/fibre optics . . .
  6. Fuel cannisters , rolled card and plasticard discs , with a piece of sprue/bolt for the filler caps . mounts from plasticard . . . . . . . retaining straps are strips of stainless steel shim - 1mm studding + a nut , just some tiny brackets and they will work just like the full size jobbies
  7. Now for my Igor bit . . .The Brain ! . . . an IBU2pro board , all singing all dancing little number , fully customisable but won't make a cup o' tea .
  8. Hi Brian , Welcome to the forum ! That is a brilliant effort considering it's origins Good ideas about the mantlet and 'guards too .She's a cracker .
  9. Hello Steve - they are identical switches ( push button to earth ) so it will be the same as the right hand one .
  10. Hot off Tamiya 's spares list - the distinctive JS drive sprockets , next to one from a KV - they fit my metal HL/Mato tracks a treat too - . . . the gearbox shafts need an extra flat ground on to fit but that's much easier than having to source custom ones . Double yay ! Then on to a bit of panel beating . . . - and more blinkin hinges Now for the gun cradle . To have gunflash with 'bang', I.R. , elevation , traverse and recoil , not much there then . . . .
  11. Love it Steve , could be real . Oh , BTW - an ignition switch need not be fitted but there should be two buttons on the handlebars - One for the ignition cut-out and the other for the horn ( mounted on the other handle bar ) - missing on the kit . . .Or ,maybe all those scale single cylinder vibes have just shaken it off again , eh?
  12. Plenty here ! - http://www.alanhamby.com/tiger.html
  13. Apologies for the erratic postings folks , ISP aggro . But here are a few more silly bits done whilst waiting for extra bolts to arrive . . . . . . . return roller mounts got new backspacers , brass bushes and more holes for extra bolts . . . . . . . the rollers being altered . . .
  14. The lower gun gimbal supporting mount , a simple boss set into a cross girder http:// . . . The top boss is in the upper mantlet . . . And the gimbal , ( tempoarily fitted with an HL Jadpanther recoil unit - a more substantial recoil is needed ! ) The barrel in progress , made from a carbon fiber fishing rod . ( loosely fitted with the front mantlet for this pic ) n . . . It's starting to look like something now
