  1. That Photo^^ exactly has the conditions I mentioned which make it difficult to assess, means too matte paint and lack of reflections. But continue to defend and live in your fake reality as you please if you are too stupid to get it, I don't care anymore. One also has the freedom to buy models that have errors as they want.
  2. The blunt leading edge comes from an optical illusion, either from too matte paints or from a cloud covered sky or likely a combination where it suppresses the reflections. The actual thicker portion is behind the leading edge One needs to study pictures with the ability to estimate shapes from shadows and reflections to see the obvious. Unfortunately kit makers are often too lazy and copy errors from others. Hasegawa for example had these shapes correct in all scales 30 years ago already.
  3. I wonder when the kit makers will stop adhering to that blunt fin root, it looks daft and is aerodynamically wrong. The real AC had a sharp leading edge from the root on.

  5. RS Models once had the He 46 Un (Hungarian version) as a resin kit
  6. I highly doubt there were many Beaufort in desert scheme camo, Most were in TSS since the main enemy 'territory' they operated in was over sea.
  7. I probably will get cursed about this but notice one of the topside colors is blue, maybe the infamous RLM83 ( or was it 84 ? )
  8. Dear uncle Airfix, pretty please downscale the kit to 1:72 as well as the Walrus !!!!
  9. If you compare the test build with the box cover it appears they completely missed the shape of the nose contours, it's much too rounded sidways and too sharp edged seen from the sides, above and from below. Oh well another blunder.that likely comes from crappy misinterpretation of drawings Edit: As @VMA131Marine just has proven below it is obviously the box cover which is wrong and the kit is correct which is much better than vice versa.
  10. snip Due to the ongoing war, you asked whether there would be Soviet markings or a box with Soviet aces. We are not planning a special box for Soviet schemes but expect individual, interesting Soviet markings in boxes of particular versions. Let’s remember that not only Russians flew in the Soviet air force, but also many Ukrainians, and one of the most outstanding Airacobra aces was the Tatar from Crimea.
  11. I wonder if the AC with 4-bladers had better performance than those with the 3-bladers ?
  12. I think on that machine it was red not orange, this is a restored AC tho even if I seem to recall of seeing a original color photo in approximately the same color
  13. Amodel have a nice Yak-9U already https://www.scalemates.com/kits/amodel-7289-yak-9u--138676
  14. Dunno why this keeps coming up, they themselves have announced awhile ago that they won't necessarily do Polish subjects anymore.
  15. Does one have the link of that Japanese guys who corrects fotos into flat projection and corrects plans after that ? The name of the guy is Jumpai or Jenpai or in that direction ... if I recall this correctly Arma did some kits from those ... we might get better fitting hints than the usual broad speculations from that
  16. KP should start to investigate a bit more, they rely too much on copying There^^, I tried to put it mildly
  17. I once read that it was a mixture of white with a few percent (4% if I am not wrong) of wartime roundel red, That explains the grayish pink tone, well to me at least
