  1. Nice work! Do the engine cowlings come off again or are they glued?
  2. That's pretty much the method I've used in the past when rigging 1/48 models. In 1/32 though, I was keen to try to replicate the flat cross section of the wire. I might just use the RB etch for the shorter lengths, and try flattening some fishing line with round nosed pliers for the longer wires. No rush though, I'm still fiddling with the engine, trying to add some ignition cables. One day I'll build one up quickly out of the box, one day...
  3. Speaking of etched rigging, I've invested in some British rigging material and terminals from RB Productions. Anyone used these? If so, any top tips? I was wondering particularly if they sag and if so how to remedy it?
  4. How about: Roland C.II Halberstadt Cl.II Hannover Cl.III DH5 Or How about some Austro-Hungarian crates: Hansa Brandenburg D.I Aviatik Berg D.I Phonix D.I I believe WnW plan to release a Pfalz DXII this year. Anyone know what else is upcoming?
  5. Howdo, folks. First time posting for me. I've just returned to building WWI aircraft again, tempted back by the glorious new Wingnut Wings kits. Here's my first effort, the SE5a. I've used the Eduard set despite the fact that I hate working with PE, and I've added bracing and rudder cables from steel monofilament and brass tube. So, the cockpit is done, just starting work on the engine. Hopefully I will manage to restrain myself and do the rest out of the box, or I shall be stuck on this one until Christmas. That pile of kits on the shelf isn't getting any smaller...
