I ordered on the 30th Sept and Roger replied the same day to advise he would be away until the 9th Oct and would send the books out after that. The books arrived safely last Tuesday. (Unfortunately they were then confiscated by my wife and I won't be seeing them again until Christmas Day!) Richard

What colour are these wipers?
slufdriver replied to Nigel Heath's topic in Modern - 1969 and onwards
I can't be sure from that picture but dark grey is certainly a possibility. From experience (i.e. types flown) I've seen wiper arms in black, very dark grey and fuselage (or cheatline) colour. So I don't think you'd be wrong with either dark grey or blue. (Cue somebody with a picture proving me wrong). Richard -

Fascinating stuff - I must have built 4 or 5 Airfix VC10s back in the 1970's and I had no idea how wrong the stub wing was! I''m looking forward to seeing this one finished! Richard -

Jet Set Decals? Still got them sitting in the decal stash. I did build the BCAL 1-11 and VC10 and Mexicana 727 though! Lovely Tridents Neil, but I think the BA would look better with BEA titles! I'll get me Richard -
That brings back memories! 'ZL was our "newest" Viscount coming from the Sultan of Oman's Air Force in 1978, a year after I joined the company (Bloody Hell that makes me feel old). Lovely model Neil, can't wait to see it finished. Richard

I'd be lost without it! Richard

Nice build - and what a great colour scheme! Richard

Another superb model Chris. Who would have thought that the old Frog B(I)8 could look so good? Richard
