Fixed the tail, fuselage is primed and awaiting gloss coat. Started work on the wings. My assistant seems concerned.

I ordered a couple of sets from raffachris awhile back 2009/10 and I guess am 1 of the few that got a complete order in a timely manner. -
I would like to finish my Egyptair A.321 and a 733 that I started awhile back, if I can get to AHS, it will be Turkish. if not then perhaps maybe Aerosur.

Just about back to where it was before it fell: P1000239 by dart sloth, on Flickr P1000240 by dart sloth, on Flickr Im not sure how to go about this repair. It was fared in nicely but some of the putty cracked away when the wings came off... P1000241 by dart sloth, on Flickr The other side is alot better looking. I managed to repair the tail, not great but considering how cracked the decal was, anway P1000242 by dart sloth, on Flickr I really should have stripped it all down, re filled and sanded it all again and then repainted it. It seems thats the way my builds have been going lately building each kit twice... Bah, sorry about the crappy tail pic, Ill take another shot later. -

As I was finishing up the decals the inevitable happened, It fell from the counter and hit the floor. The fuselage craked frrom the nose across the bottom and up around the tail. P1000237 by dart sloth, on Flickr Im really bummed that I let this happen. I should recove this and still finish on time. The tail decal suffered the most damage cracking the decals. Its worse than it looks. P1000238 by dart sloth, on Flickr -
My DC-10 and 727 are going to require more time then this build has mostly due to work and my lameness... So hopefully this can be finished on time. Ironically, I had a 3 day weekend and I spent all 3 days sanding, filling and priming my 1973 ford bronco. But now that the weekend is over, it time to shift from 1:1 to 1:144. I should have some progress pics up in the next few days. -
LMAO!

It's just 1 of those things I guess. Over on our side of the pond we have blue putty, but on your side you have Halfords paints. -
Cant wait to see them!

Thx guys, stuffed some styrene in the gap and covered with putty should be okay. The blue filler is 3m acryl-blue glazing putty, 1 tube will do near lifetime worth of models.
